Place was quiet & hot water available.  Had to get help to use heater.

Nice, warm, and well organzied room with a wonderful view. Quiet and comfortable. I will be staying there again.

The staff was helpful, the room was clean and the offered everyday maid service. The location was great just a short walk to the ocean and @5 miles to Smith Redwood Forest.

Next to the ocean and places to eat and shop parking amazing and the lady is amazing with her husband

This is the best hotel that exists! I absolutely love the staff and they have the most comfortable beds ever! I would highly recommend!

This was a basic hotel room that was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The two chairs and table were handy for eating takeout. We enjoyed the view of the beach and water. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. When I requested an extra pillow at 10 p.m., they quickly obliged. The hotel is dated, but it is well maintained and again, very clean. If you want new or a bunch of amenities, this may not be the place for you. But if you want a comfortable room at a low cost for Crescent City, I highly recommend the Front Street Inn.

We booked it that evening knowing we would need to stop somewhere in the Crescent City area, and knowing there might not be any rooms left if we didn’t book ahead.  Luckily we arrived at approx 11:50pm and got checked in before he turned in for the night!  He and his wife were very kind and gracious through the whole check in check out process.Our only issues: bathroom was really small, the microwave hadn’t been cleaned out from someone’s cup-o-noodle boil over mess, and there was a little mildew on the shower curtain - but it’s an older building.  Overall we were happy with our stay!

Great location! Great Price! Bike/Walking/Park/Beach just across the street. Hotel was full but quiet even tho we slept in and they were housekeeping. Farmers Market you can walk to on Wed and Sun. Alice and Nathan take pride in this Hotel and make sure it is a wonderful friendly experience. They remind you that if you need anything at all, they are there for you. Super experienced, diligent hard working.I was going to come alone, then my husband decided to quit working and go with me. Alice was able to upgrade our room to an ocean view, so we could just relax and we extended our stay an extra night.Just wonderful!!!

Wonderful Hotel

This was an adorable place. Very quaint and looks nice from outside. Inside was so nice and clean. Our room had an extra little bedroom for our daughter to stay in. The landscaping was pretty and patio tables/chairs are scattered around with lights. We walked to the deck and enjoyed the evening,  watching and listening to the river. If we ever come back this way, we will definitely stay here. We loved it. 😊❤️

A nice place to stay.  I arrived on a cool day, but the heater worked very well.  Bed comfortable, and no problems with Internet connection.  My one complaint about the room was the chairs: I'd have liked a straight chair to sit at the table and use my laptop.  The room's two chairs were very low, so low that I had to pile pillows on the seat to sit up at the table.A couple of society's most vulnerable members shouting at one another a block or so from the motel, but they didn't come on the property that I know of, and I felt no worries for my car or its contents.

This is a great old family owned and maintained motel. Check-in was pleasant and everything was as clean as needed for my stay. If you are looking for posh and quiet, pay more and stay elsewhere. You will be sleeping next to the main road through town. Fridge and all lights worked, curtains closed and the door locked easily which I couldn't say about my last stay at what was not America's Best Value. Just out of sight across the street is Kin Kao Thai Eatery. Personal favorite and Yelp 4.5 rating. Closed Mondays.

Good Economical Stay in Crescent City

We stayed Fri-Sun the first time at Front Street Inn. Check-in was simple and the male providing us service was professional & kind. It seems this is run by a partnered team or family which I'm in support of especially how COVID has impacted family run businesses. We stayed in #35, no issues with locks, outlets, windows, bedding nor bathroom/tub being unclean. No bugs, drugs nor used gross stuff anywhere in the room. All checked before we unpacked.     We were told housekeeping wasn't available, which was fine since we do our own upkeep & prefer privacy. The amenities were typical, shampoo, soaps,TP. We bring our own shampoo, extra pillow, snacks. I didn't expect the best to get some sleep w/the plan to go eat locally for breakfast. I have good hearing, the foghorn was quite faint, doing it's job. Those who complain about that, kinda stupid, since the hotel staff have no control over that, nor street traffic noise. The hotel itself is older, the bedspreads aren't quilted/plush. Parking was adequate, a little noisy. We slept good with a little melatonin, the bed was firm which worked well for me. He preferred a more cush mattress but again not the Ritz Carlton or Vegas. If you enjoy camping basics with a clean bathroom area, fridge, micro then staying here should work out. The waterfront & a few eateries are nearby to take a walk to. Read the description so that you don't complain about whatever else you expect that is not offered. All the best Front Street team!

We found the Front Street Inn online and booked a future stay! We checked in early and the owner assured us of a good spot (we are driving an extended cab pickup) (parking is tight) when we returned. We returned after dining out to only a few spaces open. We proceeded to park and the owner told us he had a spot for us. He had parked his private vehicle in one of the larger spots so we could park more easy! The room was immaculate with a spectacular view of the ocean! Comfy bed and natural A/C from the ocean breeze! We will return next time we visit Crescent City!
