We stayed at Distill Inn kind of spur of the moment. What a lucky break! Super close to distilleries and downtown. Clean. Friendly staff. This will be our go to spot when we come back to Bardstown on our next distillery tour trip. Don’t pass on this little gem!

Wonderful little hotel. Very clean,good hot breakfast, quite location - less than 1 mile to downtown. Coffee machine (with cappuccino, mochacinno etc...) avaible at all time. Check in and check out process was very quick. Highly reccomend for couples or families.

A former Quality Inn that has been transformed into a hip, cool place to stay.  Large rooms, beautiful photos on the walls, great lobby decor and bar and the night we stayed there, a woman named Mary checked us in and gracefully moved between manning the bar and checking in clients all with a friendly manner and good sense of humor.  Usual good  breakfast pickings.  We spent 8 days on our trip and this was by far our favorite hotel.  Great Mexican restaurant with huge portions right out the back door.  Easy drive to Bardstown. My only complaint is that of the 4 pillows on the beds, they have two of thinner variety for those of us that can't handle a thick, fluffy pillow.

We made a last minute decision to stay in Bardstown after visiting a few distilleries. I read reviews and decided on Distill Inn. The price point does not match the quality of this hotel. Check in was easy. It was very clean and nicely decorated. The room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was your typical breakfast. Highly recommend.

This is a hidden gem.  The lobby and common areas were clean & nicely decorated.  The staff were friendly & helpful.  The room was clean, spacious, & comfortable!  Reasonable prices make it worth staying there.  We will be back!

Check I. Was fast and easy,  the front desk staff was very friendly.  The room was clean and quiet and the bed was very comfortable.  Breakfast was good,  a good combination of hot and cold choices.  My only issue was no elevator.

We always stay here. The same people still manage this place and they are truly wonderful. I have stayed at other hotels in Bardstown and the staff at the other places are just plain rude. This is my favorite place to stay. I don't care how much I have to pay I'm staying here where I know if any problem arises it will be handled immediately. They do not tolerate any type of nonsense. Keep up the good work... See you next time!!

This place is ran by great people. I always stay here and you should to. They do not tolerate any shenanigans. Quiet place and clean. They have a indoor pool and hot tub but due to Covid-19 it was closed but no big deal. Front Desk Clerk Melissa absolutely great and she is hilarious. Definitely give this place a try!!!

Check in was a breeze. Melissa at the front desk was great. She was upfront about the pool being closed due to the pandemic and that they were offering a bag breakfast to go. The room was clean and I love the lobby floor. It's quite no road noise which is great. When I come back I will be staying at Quality Inn and Suites in Bardstown. Great Place Great People

I loved my staying at Quality Inn the people is so nice, rooms very clean and comfortable beds, we enjoyed the pool, hot tub and fitness, breakfast was excellent, we recommend the hotel and we’ll definitely come back 😍😍

Cute hotel, decor is on point, very clean. Our room was solid. My only issue was there are no towel bars in the bathroom to hand our towels or even a hook on the back door to hang my robe. Our check in was easy, front desk person was friendly and suggested a dinner spot. Location is close to downtown, which was nice. We would stay there again.

Good place to stay

This is a very nice, unremarkable hotel.  Standard rooms,not very big. No dressers for clothes. Everything very clean. It only has 2 floors, but be aware...there is no elevator! So don't drag in a lot of luggage!  The included breakfast was quite good, the usual hot/cold stuff. There is a bar that is really nice.  Not very big, but well stocked.  The lovely young lady at the check-in opens it at 4:00.  She also tends bar all evening. We had a problem with the tv in our room, mentioned it to a staff guy at breakfast.  It was fixed by the time we returned to our room.  This is a "nothing fancy" motel, but would definitely recommend it!

Nice clean hotel with great staff

We stayed in a 2 bed suite for 2 nights. Very nice size but no drawers for clothes. Shower good. Lot of soap and shampoo.

Room was quiet.

Nice bar for drinks after check in and returning from a day of travel in day 2. 

Pool was ok. Hot tub was not functioning.

Breakfast was satisfactory. Hot coffee machine open 24/7.

A Mexican restaurant behind hotel has good food and cold beer.

I would most definitely stay again.

We checked in on a Wednesday evening and stayed two nights.  

PROS-> Modern and clean room and bathroom.  Loved the big/bright bathroom mirror.   Bed/mattress/pillows were very comfy.  Breakfast was the average/normal for such a stay…..both HOT and COLD offerings.   Coffee was decent.   Bar area was a nice surprise!   It was very quiet….a little off the beaten path (town) and safe.

CONS-> Driveway/parking lot was being paved and we had to park at a close by establishment.    Be advised there is no elevator so try to get a first floor room.   My recommendation is to please provide hand towel racks….so, you do not have to drape towels over the lovely bathroom counters…..

We enjoyed our stay and wished we could have stayed one more night….but, the place was booked…..

So, If you are looking for a nice clean and comfy room, I recommend the Distill Inn….

Great renovated accommodations!  

This hotel was previously a national chain unit.  The new ownership acquired it in the Spring, 2022.  They are renovating and during our stay, they were landscaping, [painting and working hard.  The rooms are spacious and the beds in our room were fluffy and comfy.  A lot of why we liked our stay was the super friendly staff:  Mgr. Noresh [my wife said he was a dreamboat], morning clerk- Kathy, Night clerk- Adriana and all-around man, Allen.  They were anxious to please and be of service.  Now, the breakfast thru the week is light fare w/ egg-cheese-croissants, fruit, cereal, bagel along w/ fruit juices and coffee.  on the w/e it's a hot buffet, so we're told.  Nice seating area w/ 4 top tables.  We didn't use the pool or tub; but, on one night the folks were having a ball.  We did go down to the lounging/brkfst seating area one night to play cards, and it was ok.   Convenient location off the main routes and 5 mins to downtown Bardstown. 

We'd stay at the Distill Inn again.  Quality*Service*Value  

We booked while the hotel was still under the old management. It is currently transitioning into a boutique hotel. We had a great stay! When we arrived in the evening there was a complimentary reception where we got to experience local wines and homemade derby pie (the best we tried during our entire trip). Hotel room was clean an comfortable. Great service and everybody on staff was really friendly and welcoming. It's in a decent area, close to most things in Bardstown. We didn't use the pool or the gym but they looked ok. The breakfast is standard chain motel fare and after the nice evening reception that was a little underwhelming.

Transitioning into a boutique hotel

Clean, well kept property.  A little bit worn, but you can tell the owners are trying to update.  Shower had good water pressure and plenty of hot water.  No hot breakfast, presumedly due to Covid, but a sack containing a packaged muffin was provided and a coffee machine was available.  Only drawback was there is no elevator.  Good value, I will stay again.
