Economical, clean, convenient to town. Room condition a little rough. Beds comfortable.

Super convenient location for travel in Saratoga Springs. A quick ride to SPAC with tons of Ubers in the area to take you to and from a concert or other event. Also a quick ride to the city for shopping and dining. The room was no frills but clean and all we needed. Staff was super friendly.

Staff was very nice. It's the cleanest motel I've ever stayed in. It's smoking free and people do smoke out side. There are little shops around the area that are in walking distances.

Great service and flexibility. Very clean place. Proprietor goes out of his way to be helpful.

Basic good accommodations at a reasonable price.  Room was small but had very comfortable beds and chair, and a large bureau if one had a longer stay.  Room had the basics:  TV, refrigerator, but not much room to use the table and only one chair, but really not room for more.  Bathroom also small but well planned, lots of nice hot water.

I enjoyed my 2-night stay at The Robin Hood Motel. The room was clean, the shower water pressure was excellent, the manager was friendly and helpful. My room was in the back with a wooded area across the parking lot which was a very pleasant view. I would stay here again.

This is a charming and relaxing place; I thoroughly enjoyed my three night stay. King is so major, and your every need is met. It is kept clean and is well maintained. Now the rooms are tiny.. a bigger person than me would not fit in the shower lol. It is a tiny bit of a challenge but didn't bother me.. it's like a cabin with coffee all day long in the office. Lots of Adirondack chairs outside your room, dedicated and then scattered in the back, park- like area w a grill and picnic table, a gazebo, trash bins always cleaned. I enjoyed the front in the sun outside, and the back in the shade. There is a cut through from front to back by the office, which is open until 8pm; King is always available to help with anything and you just have to call.  Very quaint imo. King is the best.

A quaint gentle experience

While the facilities are a bit dated, they are clean and comfortable. A basic motel room. The grounds in the back are nice. Park like. Tables, chairs and a couple grills. Screened porch. The owner/manager was very helpful. Was a last minute choice at the end of a long day of motorcycle riding. Ended up being a perfect choice.

Stayed for a night during a SPAC Concert. Very clean room and maintained landscaping. There is a pool that was very clean as well as 2 barbeques and an outdoor pavilion for the patrons. They also had a Continental Breakfast available during the Saratoga Horse Racing Season which included doughnuts, muffins, hot and cold cereals, bagels w/ cream cheese, fresh watermelon, apple and orange juices and coffee. Breakfast was a pleasant surprise as it's not mentioned on the website. Staff was pleasant and friendly. A great Stay less than 3 miles from SPAC.

Clean and Well-Maintained Hotel

I was a little leery at first when we pulled up to the motel.  As soon as we went to the front desk to check in, my mind was put at ease.  Rocky greeted us at the front desk and she was very friendly and upbeat.  She told us the room was just about ready she just had to put the pillowcases on the pillows.  The room itself is very basic but it had everything we needed.  Also, very clean.  That was important to me.  Bed was comfortable.  We were going to a concert at SPAC and the motel is very convenient.  Only 2 miles away.  We had a quick overnight stay but we would definitely go back again.

Stayed at this Motel for our 3 day visit to Saratoga Springs. It was cheaper than most Hotels in the area. It was pretty nice, considering how small the Motel is. Room was very clean. The owner/workers were very friendly and accommodating. The bathroom is small and could use some updates. Could use some newer mattresses on the beds. Otherwise, it was a nice place to stay. Pool was nice for outdoor swimming. They have microwave and fridgerator in room. They have a continental breakfast in the office until 11am, which was convenient. They need to add Kleenex/tissue to the rooms.Overall, it was a pleasant stay.

Pleasant stay for a small Motel

Property is quite and safe. A bit too far out of Saratoga Springs City.  But there is a bus to the City a a Shuttle to the Train Station. But most off all, if you don’t have a car, Bus # 240 take you to the wonderful Saratoga Spa State Park where you can commune with nature, get a mineral bath, and search on the Vale of Springs for the geysers on the property. Enjoy.

The room was clean and smelled good. There were laminate floors which I really like in a hotel room. The rooms have a cabin look to them. The property was well manicured with a lot of flowers.  The bath was quite small but functional. The AC was barely functional. No breakfast was provided. The bed was ok.

A Good Stay

The Robin Hood is a lovely little motel in a quaint setting. The property is very clean and neat. It is conveniently located. However, the rooms are very small and it was a bit cramped for two people. I have to admit, I also wish they had a more accommodating policy for smokers but that's common now I guess.

Went away overnight with my husband and two other couples. Our stay was amazing! A very economical, clean motel. Room was soo clean, had everything you need including a microwave and refrigerator. Room was spacious with great A/C on such a hot trip, comfy bed and beautiful grounds. We took advantage of using the beautiful and ultra-clean pool during our stay. We were greeted by a wonderful man at the front desk, who showed us around, and checked us in right away. There was a delightful continental breakfast with coffees, juices, cereals, bagels, donuts, fruit, etc. which was fresh and delicious--much nicer than most name brand hotels we have stayed at. The grounds were nicely kept and motel was convenient to stores, restaurants, etc. We will definitely be going back here again. I highly recommend it!
