I was exhausted when I checked in and the clerk was quick with getting me a room and on the bottom floor god love him. The rooms were very clean and the sheets were so soft and bathroom was clean lots of towels.

Nice place to stay. Staff is great. Jonathan (I believe he is manager not sure) is great. He always calls me back when I am unable to reach him.

Very close to the areas I needed to go. Complimentary breakfast was always fresh and ready.

Room was clean, good price, great breakfast I would stay again

The staff was excellent and very freindly. Probably the nicest staff I have ever encountered in my many stays at hotels!

This is our third time staying here.  We have enjoyed it each time.  One of the things we enjoy is their fresh breakfast.  We’ll be staying here again.

The room was spacious, very clean, and comfortable.  Staff great.  Lobby area decorated for Halloween and very impressive.  The breakfast was fantastic with fresh scrambled eggs, lots of bacon, grits, biscuits, and much more.  Would absolutely stay here again.

My wife and I spent a night here after attending a show at the Barter Theater. She enjoyed the motel. It is an older motel but served our purpose. The room was actually a suite with a separate sitting room, which had a TV like the bedroom. The bed was comfy. The breakfast had plenty of choices. The motel could be spruced up with new carpet, paint and perhaps bathroom fixtures. The room rate was inexpensive. All in all, we would recommend it and would return if we get back to Abingdon.

Theater trip

Staff was great, friendly and willing to assist. They allowed me to park my motorcycle upfront under the roof so thats a major win for me. Located right off the highway with some options for dinning and plenty of gas stations at good prices.As for the hotel i was able to book 2 days prior just under 100 so cant complain area was just hit by Helena storm, and it was at full capacity.Still plenty of room in the breakfast area and parking lot although dark at nigh and most availability was in the back.Now for the not so great part. Hotel is heavily outdated for almost 100. Room smelled old, furniture specially the sofa showed severe signs of wear and tear.Bathroom was clean but had signs of humidity on the roof and bathtub showed its aged with dirty caulking and cracking.Now the bed was great! matress and pillows were firm with plenty of support for a good night rest. So if its just a passing by i would consider it again. Breakfast was average with a plus that they offer some items like granolla bars and muffins that are wrapped and you can take easily on the go.If only they invested in renovating the rooms it would be a great option.

It appeared that the breakfast was never restocked, and many items were gone right away.  To be fair though, many people were seen every morning taking bowls of bacon and/or plates full of eggs, bread, muffins/rolls/donuts/etc. and biscuits-and-gravy to their rooms Exiting the hotel parking lot into busy traffic was also very difficult

I’ve been staying here at least once a year for approximately ten years. I keep coming back. It’s convenient if you’re visiting Baltimore or DC.  Nice breakfast every day and the suites are clean and well equipped. Staff always very helpful. My only real complaint this trip seems to be the diminished quality of toilet paper and paper towels. I’ll be back as it has become a comfortable and convenient home away from home.

The couch is outdated and the seat covers are cracked, but the bed and bathroom are clean. There is no way to fully close the curtains and there is a parking lot right across the street. I wish there was a listing of channels so I didn’t have to keep clicking to find local channels, etc. It seems to be in a relatively safe area and close to lots of businesses.

This was a quiet hotel along the highway that was quick and easy to access during our trip.  The staff was very friendly and helpful.  The hotel is located just a walk away from an excellent Mexican restaurant so it was quite convenient.  The room was clean and comfortable and the hotel was very quiet.  Breakfast was plentiful and tasty!  We would stay here again!

Clean Convenient Hotel

Convince of easy access to interstate. Stayed there 6 months ago and was very pleased. This time the facility was showing signs of deterioration the rugs showed signs of wear and fraying. This was in the lobby and 3rd floor hallway. The grout on the bathroom was molded needs to cleaned. Probably won’t be back will look for a replacement stay at…

This was a second stay at this hotel for me and my husband. It was an overnight stay for another visit to the Barter Theater. Again we were happy with our stay. Our check in was fast. Brandon at the front desk was very pleasant and very efficient. As some of the other reviews mentioned, the hotel decor is a little outdated. However, the hotel including our room was very clean and comfortable.It was also quiet. The breakfast was fantastic. Biscuits, eggs, bacon, grits, gravy, fried potatoes, waffles, and all the typical juices, cereal, bagels, muffins, yogurt etc. The coffee was also really good. This hotel was a great value. We will definitely stay again on our next visit to Abingdon.

Good breakfast, everything worked,beds comfortable.Room generally clean, no mold.
Corners cruddy, some nicks and chinks.
Exterior not well kept.lots of weeds and worst of all front right corner of building, sidewalk and stairs covered with poison ivy,!.No first aid kit at front desk.
