I would like to thank the management and staff for their kindness and discrete service at our small funeral tea yesterday.  The food was excellent and plentiful and it was so nice to have a private room for our small family.  You made a very difficult day a little more pleasant, thank you.

Just got back from a fantastic night away at this lovely hotel,  my room was  very good  had everything you needed the bed was comfortable  , dinner last night was excellent as was breakfast today  ,staff were friendly and polite, I am looking forward to going back sometime soon hopefully  ,

Very comfortable rooms, staff are lovely, nothing was too much trouble. Food was delicious & piping hot . Would definitely recommend. We only stayed for two nights but we found it was everything we needed for a relaxing stay.

Stayed in a superior double room, it was lovely and the views over the gardens were fantastic, in the evening we went into the dining room we had a 3 course meal and I must say all courses were brilliant, The staff were very attentive and joyful, There was 1 member of staff called Jack who we really got on with and he made our holiday really enjoyable with his jokes and laughs, He was always smiling and happy making us feel very welcome. We will defiantly be returning. Thank-you

Stayed in a superior double room clean beautiful views over Gardens towards sea. Had a three course meal nice choice well cooked just enough on first night approximately £34 per head drinks very reasonable for a hotel. Loved the breakfast All staff were very friendly and very helpful. Good base if you want to visit Whitehaven St Bees of Cockermouth not too far from Keswick.

We had a fabulous two night stay here. Excellent service at all times and a fabulous breakfast. Staff were friendly and accommodating. The room was spacious and spotless. Thoroughly recommend it for couples

We had a great 2 night stay at the hotel. The room was lovely and clean and had a nice view onto the garden. The food was excellent and the staff serving were brilliant. All were very friendly and accommodating! We would definitely return and recommend this to friends and family!

A lovely tea was prepared. They provided a great service especially when more guests attended than originally planned. There was service with a smile and no complaints. Teas and coffees were refilled on request and no stress was caused as the service staff were polite and organised.

We've been a couple of times to Hunday Manor hotel and can't fault it. The room we had is spacious and bed very comfortable.  The views from the hotel are great. There is a good choice at breakfast (never had a traditional breakfast as enjoyed the other choices). We also ate in the restaurant one evening. All the staff are really friendly and helpful. We definitely will return.

Good Value Hotel, Brill staff 

Friendly helpful staff good value Hotel

We have just returned from a 2 night stay after booking through Buy a Gift. It is a nice hotel with good staff. We stayed in Room 3 which was OK but the bathroom was quite shabby. The heated towel rail was covered in rust and the shower wasn't great.  There were 2 packets of biscuits in the room, one of which was nearly a year out of date. Breakfasts were lovely and we had dinner there one night which was really good. The weather was fantastic and the front of the hotel has lovely views with gorgeous sunsets.  There aren't many sitting areas in the sun apart from a couple of seats near the entrance. The tables there hadn't been cleaned for some time. There is only one pub/restaurant in walking distance called Oilys so we ate there. The food and staff were great, they do the best chips! Overall it was a nice stay and good value for what we paid.

What a fabulous wedding we had, fabulous hotel, location, food,  everything great about it.  Waiting on staff brilliant and attentive and Barry the wedding organiser was fab.  Such a shame we can’t say it about the owner…..obnoxious, very unprofessional man…..we had a few minor complaints with bedroom issues and payment of rooms…which shouldn’t have happened as wedding had been planned for nearly 3 years…but because he didn’t like what we were saying….told us you’ve had your day now get over it it and went on to  say we were a horrible family and had much nicer quests to attend to!!!!

We chose this hotel for a few days break to celebrate our Golden Wedding.What a gem! The atmosphere was lovely and relaxing. Staff were friendly and efficient. The food was excellent, thank you chef!
Our room was spotless, plenty of hot water, fluffy towels and toiletries.
Good, quiet, location, plenty of parking.
Hope to book again soon!
