Wonderful place with friendly staff, spacious and comfortable rooms, excellent food and a lovely welcome. Greeted with a glass of Prosecco, I was assisted to my room and made to feel very welcome. It was a freezing cold day, but the room was lovely and warm. The bathroom was toasty - so different from other hotels I’ve stayed at recently. Massive, comfy bed! Nespresso machine and fridge in the room as well as a kettle and a range of teas. Waking up to a view of the river on a sunny day, with swans and geese all over the place, was a great way to start the day, and it got better as breakfast was amazing! Lovely welcome, plenty of drinks offered, and the range of choices was superb. I opted for the eggs Benedict - cooked to perfection! I’ve previously had the yogurt and granola with fruit compote as well as the pancakes with bacon and maple syrup - all delicious and faultless. For those with a big appetite, you’re not limited to one choice either! I have been here before and will continue to go back!

We had the perfect stay. We had Severn Suite which is just stunning. Comfortable super king bed, great shower. Fresh milk great selection of teas/coffeeWonderful view of the river.

Very attentive staff, great location, wonderful food, clean, stylish rooms

I booked Browns a few months ago as it was centrally located and close to the cricket ground. I wrongly believed it was part of the Browns chain but it is certainly not. I was particularly impressed by the service and the presence of several experienced staff (or owners perhaps) who ran the hotel and catering services very well indeed. There is an extensive breakfast menu and generous portions appeared. A big thumbs up for the coffee too and for lunch a beautifully presented croquetta with pickled vegetables (one of the best I've had). A complimentary glass of fizz was offered when we arrived. The room was very comfortable and included a couple of pods for the Nespresso machine and complimentary water. There was a strong flowing shower which I like. Finally the tariff was very good value so we'll be back if we return to Worcester one day.

Got upgraded to a while two bed flat! Only booked a double room. Flat was amazing. Looked out over river. Clean, modern, comfortable. Staff welcoming and friendly.

Staff service location fantastic, only issue was shower seemed to have run out of hot water and was ice cold and I had full head of shampoo to remove!

Perfect Stay!

Exceeded my expectations

We arrived at the hotel and mentioned that we were there to celebrate a birthday and were immediately given a glass of fizz each. The room was great with good facilities and was very comfortable. The staff were friendly, attentive and welcoming. We had intended to walk into town for dinner but having seen the menu (and the special on cocktails) we decided to eat in and it was superb! We had the fish on the sharing boards and it was huge and delicious and far bigger than we expected.We definitely will visit again both the hotel and restaurant are worth a detour when we are close.

Everything about our stay was perfect, we stayed over for a family wedding in a nearby venue. We arrived at the hotel and were presented with a complimentary Prosecco, and the checking was nice and simple. While we waiting for friends to arrive put luggage was taken to our hotel room.We then ate at the restaurant at the food and service was amazing.Great location overlooking the river great for a walk too!

Stylish and elegant

I have stayed here before and know it is well appointed, good food and great rooms. What made it stand out this time was, I knew I would have to be away before breakfast was served. In telling the manager, he and the staff then did their best to sort something out for me. During the evening of the night before, I was supplied with cereal, yoghurt and fresh fruit to have as breakfast before I left. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Above and beyond

The room was gorgeous and in general, the location was perfect, very central and down by the river. But if you are a solo traveller and early riser, spending the evening in the room was made a bit sour because of the very loud music from the hotel restaurant, even through the closed window. Also, the WiFi was totally unreliable, which was annoying.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The room was comfortable and clean with a large bed. The restaurant and bar area is really lovely with very nice food. Location is also really good, with lovely views of the river and very close walking distance to the town centre. I would very much recommend a stay here.

Lovely for a weekend away.

The hotel is comfortable, clean and our room was well equipped with a beautiful view over the Severn and cathedral. The provision of real milk in the fridge rather than long life white water in a plastic carton is a nice touch. My only small criticism is that breakfast service is slow (not self-service), there's no fruit juice on offer and if you want any cereal other than cornflakes or Weetabix you're out of luck; but the cooked breakfast when it comes is excellent. Overall a good experience which I would recommend.

Zac gave us a warm friendly welcome and couldn't do enough to help us. Great service. We were in room 303, a small but perfectly formed room. Very comfortable bed with a river view. As an apology for the restaurant being closed on Mondays there was a bottle of Prosecco and strawberries in our room on arrival. Great little touches like a little bottle of fresh milk in our fridge. Zac was really helpful and pointed ua in the direction of Cathedral Square, which offered lots of restaurants.

Great service, lovely central hotel

Greeted at the door. Bags offered to be carried inside. Seated us with a drink while we waited for the room to be ready from our last minute booking. Service exemplary from entry to exit. Room spacious with that Luxe feel without the price tag. View of the Severn River was calming after frenetic transport journeys. Food was high quality. The whole experience was superb. Option of easy stair and lift access to room was appreciated. Congratulations to management and staff for such a well run establishment.
