A really lovely place to stay , out in the country side , the rooms are quite small but are really nice , spotless clean . the owner is very friendly and helpful , the b&b only has two rooms we stayed up stairs , I would recommend this b&b if you want a quiet break . the breakfast was very nice , 

just stayed one night to break journey home from holiday, wendy showed us to our beautiful room which was huge as was the wet room,  which was supplied with all toiletries and dressing gowns,we had a fridge with fresh milk and juice and bottled water which was a bonus and the breakfasts were very good wendy even told us about a lovely place to eat I only wish our stay had been longer and will be going back to stay and will be telling everyone about this beautiful b & b

We were looking for somewhere to break the journey between our Cornwall holiday and home . We chose the Green Orchard and were not disappointed . Friendly hosts , large room , luxury feel and great bathroom . Extras like  orange juice , biscuits and FRESH milk . Quiet location but close enough to M5 to continue our journey . Nice breakfast to set you on your way to . Can't recommend highly enough . Book here and you won't be disappointed .

As stated this was my fourth visit to this delightful B&B and I am sure God willing it will not be the last, great hosts making it a lovely clean cosy place to say, with a fab breakfast to start your Day, I couldn't recommend it more highly.


We stayed here recently as part of local wedding celebrations. This place has so much going for it. It is in a lovely setting with a great garden. Wendy greeted us as we parked the car. She showed us around our room. There were lovely touches like fresh milk and orange juice in the fridge and Molton Brown toiletries (although the bottles were a bit bashed). 

The bed seemed very firm to start with, but was actually comfortable. The room in August was cool - with the tiles on the floor, not sure how warm it would be in winter! Heating was available and extra blankets, so no real worries.

The breakfast was pretty good too. 
Plenty of cereals, toast and available and a good selection of hot breakfast too. The omelette was particularly good. 

So why not 5 stars stars? 
It lost it on a couple of small points. No curtain the bedroom behind the bed (only transparent vertical blinds) which made the room light and woke us early. We blocked the window with surplus pillows. Additionally, we didn't feel quite as welcome as other guests in other reviews. 

The other guests staying were enjoying a pot of tea in the garden when we arrived- we weren't offered any.  Wendy is definitely the "front of house" excellor but Graham did the breakfast service and his manner was a little more brusk.

Nevertheless, a lovely stay and we would recommend to others
