We had a wonderful weekend stay here! Our room was clean and cosy, decorated with a lovely nautical theme. Our bed was comfortable and we had a coffee maker, teas, fresh water etc.
Scott was very friendly and easily contactable with any queries. Breakfast was delicious and we were offered the option of having it delivered to our room! 
Really convenient location, a 5 minute walk to the marine lake or the beach. Although there was no on-site parking there was street parking or a public car park within spitting distance.
I'd definitely be happy to return again, thank you!

This was our 2nd Visit to Highlea House and we cannot fault it in anyway. The place is so relaxed and great rooms.
It is so near the Beaches and dog friendly. Also the breakfast is the best!! 
Scott is an amazing bloke and really makes you feel at home.

What a fantastic b&b. The place is excellent and the hosts, Scott and Judith, are very friendly. The room was spotless, breakfasts superb and as we stayed for a week, we were given fresh linen halfway through. It’s in a great location and had everything we needed for a great stay. Nothing was too much trouble for our hosts and they shared their local knowledge to enhance our holiday. The local pub ( the Criterion) is within staggering distance and is full of friendly staff and locals. The bed was comfy, shower was easy to use and we were provided with fresh towels, coffee, tea etc each day. Scott and Judith were absolutely delightful and the perfect hosts. We are so looking forward to visiting again in the near future. 

The first night in over 3 months that I have slept a full night without waking up. The bed & pillows  were comfortable & clean. Breakfast was plentiful, fresh & delicious. The location was ideal & parking was available. We were allowed to drop off our luggage in the morning & when we returned they were in our room. The water was hot in the morning & evening for a shower. There was plenty of tea bags.coffee & bottled water. I would definitely return again. Scott and his team were very friendly. Thank you. 

Highlea House guest house is a place I would recommend to anyone, especially those with pets!
Judith and Scott were so welcoming and went out of their way to make our stay memorable! Even my guide dog loved it here.
Breakfast was probably the best I have been offered in any hotel I've stayed in and gave us a really great start every day!
 A truly lovely place to stay and Weston-super-Mare  itself was very beautiful and freindly!

This hotel may not be the most modern in decor but the owners made up for it in so many ways. My husband and I took our dog with us and we were made to feel so welcome. We were treated like kings and the owners were delightful. They fell over themselves to make our stay lovely. They even knew all the places to eat where dogs were welcome. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. There was plenty of tea and coffee and biscuits in the room and shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom. We would definitely stay here again.

We called up the same day as we wanted a day at the beach with our dog and to stay over. The host gave us the best deal, was super friendly to us and our dog. Our room was bijoux but perfect. Location is fab, 2 mins walk to the beach and lots of restaurants and pubs. We came in January which is off season but it still felt like it had a good vibe here. I have to say, Weston is super dog friendly, so many places happy to receive our furry friends. We will return!

The owners were very welcoming, and nothing was too much trouble. The location of the guest house was fantastic, less than a minute walk to the beach. You can see this from my photo’s. Near all amenities, plenty of places to eat and drink near. Free Breakfast with your stay, which was delicious. I would definitely go back again if we visit Weston!!

We booked for August and we’re lucky that this guest house had space as a lot of other places were fully booked. We arrived and were shown to our ground floor room which I had specifically requested as I am disabled and have mobility issues. 

Scott the owner met us and showed us how the keys worked and asked if we needed anything. We didn’t. It wasn’t a late room but there was ample space for two of us and my wheelchair. There was tea coffee water and hot choc on offer, as well as bottled water.

The shower and loo was bijou and being a larger lass I struggled a bit in the shower, but the light up loo in the middle of the night was a welcome addition.

Breakfast was down a couple of flights of stairs but there was a banister and I took it easy. It was easily the best breakfast outside of a Covent Garden hotel I stayed in many moons ago, that I’ve had on holiday. Cereals, yoghurt and fruit along with muffins and fruit juice were help yourself. An array of teas was available as was coffee which Judith brought to the table with the most gorgeous cups and a smile.

Scott was on kitchen duty with each meal prepared freshly from scratch and there was a choice of bacon, sausage, egg, beans, tomato’s and mushrooms along with a rack of toast and lovely wye valley creamy butter.  The bacon was thick, perfectly cooked and moreish, sausages were of excellent quality and the egg cooked to perfection.  We weren’t rushed and as we were the last down we got to meet the delightful “ginger prince” Basil, the owners gorgeous dog who had escaped the confines of the flat and came in search of leftover sausages.

At £45 a had a night in high season, you could not fault this guest house. I would heartily recommend it. Even with the lack of parking, but for £6 for 24 hours two minutes walk away, it’s well worth it .
