This is such a lovely place to stay! Although the rooms are not necessarily hotel size, the bed and bathroom were very nice and the breakfast (Eggs Royale) was absolutely delicious! So much so, we had it every morning we were there! It is also a very short drive to the Tank Museum which makes it perfect for those wishing to visit it. Definitely recommend staying here if you are in the area!

People running the place are very friendly and graciously invite you into their home. Rooms are good size, clean with ensuite and TV. Breakfasts were very tasty and there is resident off road parking. Location is quiet for the most part and only 15 mins to Lulworth Castle or Lulworth Cove or if you prefer The Tank Museum is close. What’s not to like 😊👍

Our 2 night stay at Frome Dale was like staying with a friend.  Debbie is an excellant host.  The room allocated to us was clean, nicely decorated and included a few little extras that you would expect for a 5* hotel.  The breakfast room is bright and tables are laid with beautiful and quirky crockery.  Highly recommend the Full English which arrives hot and fresh and if you want something lighter, there is a great choice.  We will definitely stay here again.

Comfortable B&B double with ensuite bath.  Very quiet, on site parking.  Very convenient to Tank Museum and Jurassic Coast and walkable to restaurants in Wool.  Debbie prepared delicious full English breakfast, additionally there was yogurt, cereal and toast.  There were other breakfast offerings but were frozen and not freshly prepared and you have to order day ahead.

The hostess, Debbie, was very nice, thoughtful, and kind. Breakfast was wonderful. I went to the Tank Museum two days and walked back both days - was a very pleasant walk.

What more do you want from a family run Bed and Breakfast? Friendly service provided by Deborah, spotless facilities, comfortable bed, legendary breakfast, ideal location with fantastic river meadow views, quiet and peaceful. We could not ask for more. Thank you.

The house was very clean and Debbie was so helpful answering all my questions.  My room had a very comfortable bed, was very clean and had everything I needed for a great stay. You are close to great restaurants and pubs. I highly recommend Fromme B&B

We booked Frome Dale as we were visiting Monkey World and Bovington Tank Museum.  

We stayed for 3 nights and the room was lovely with a double and single bed overlooking the garden. 

The shower was great and full English breakfast cooked perfectly. 

Debbie was very friendly and we felt very welcome in her home. 

There are 3 great pubs all within walking distance and Wool station is only 12 mins away. 

If we ever come back we would definitely stay here again.

My eight year old Grandaughter and I stayed for 2 nights we loved our stay. Debbie was the perfect host, our room was charming and breakfast was delicious. The location for our planned visit to Monkey World was excellent, we will definitely stay again

Warm welcome and amazing breakfast

Parking needs to be sorted out as we had to park in narrow road at front one night.Owners builders truck and car on drive so they take up a lot of the space along with various building materials…We were not told first night that we had to order night before if we wanted the yummy looking other breakfast options, we ordered the next night but then owner didn’t have them the next morning - disappointing- main full English was good.Room was very good apart from an overwhelming musty smell when coming back from day out, didn’t want to leave windows open as it was ground floor room.Could hear people trotting about upstairs at one point but night time was quiet.Owner has dogs that are kept away from guest rooms and are absolutely no problem at all.  Plenty of hot water, power shower was great, great Wi-Fi.

Good for an overnight stay

We enjoyed our stay. It did say no room service when we booked, which I assumed was due to Covid restrictions, so hopefully if we went back when things are back to normal the bin would be emptied and our beds made for us. I didn't appreciate being asked to move my car before breakfast, although they did offer to do it for us, which I wasn't happy about, as the car isn't insured for other drivers.

What a great find!
Debbie was lovely, and nothing was too much trouble.  On a nice quiet road with hardly any noise but very easy to get to Poole, Weymouth, Monkey World etc.  Room was very clean, tidy with ectopic thoughts thrown in.
Breakfast was great too.
Will be staying again, if we get the chance. 

2 night stay

Excellent B & B in Wool! I booked this based on the many positive reviews and they were spot on.  Room was very comfortable and well appointed and the bathroom seemed very new. The host is very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Breakfast was excellent, too.  I would definitely stay here again.  If you stay here, be sure to visit the Seven Stars Inn just up the street for food and drink - a truly special place with delicious food and friendly staff (was recommend by our host, and we were happy she did).

We had room 1 amazing, slept really well and the power shower fabulous, Debbie cant do enough for you and breakfast set you up for the day...close by to Monkey World and also the brilliant beaches nearby,.Thank you Debbie your an amazing lady and thankyou for inviting us to stay in your home and we will be returning.  xx
