Three Cocks Hotel

I chose this hotel as my husband and I had booked the nearby Dark Sky stargazing experience. The moment we pulled up to the Three Cocks, I could tell I would love it. I adore historical buildings and this hotel was built over 500 years ago! Despite this, the interior was spotlessly clean, warm and inviting. We were greeted by the owners and shown our room. I loved going up the stairs via an original door! If doors could speak…I’d love to know just how many people have passed that doorway over the centuries! The room was very spacious with a gorgeous interior design, and an enormous bed! My husband is 6’5” but even his feet didn’t touch the end of the bed. We had such a good night’s sleep. We enjoyed a bottle of wine sat next to the log burning fire after our stargazing and soon warmed up. I also enjoyed a particularly deep bath in the morning before enjoying an excellent breakfast. We are vegans and it was delicious. Oat milk was provided for us to take up to our room too so we could enjoy a coffee first thing. It really was such an enjoyable stay.
