I had a lovely spacious room and great en-suite shower room. It had everything you could want, fluffy towels and nice toiletries. A fridge with chilled water and fresh milk. Also a comfortable guest lounge with extra refreshments available. The staff were very friendly helpful and efficient.

We stayed in at Moore House for two nights and it was lovely. The room was beautiful, breakfast was great and the staff were very friendly. It is in a good location, with the old High St and George St nearby with nice little shops and places to eat and drink.

I cant recommend this hotel enough! We had an absolutely gorgeous stay, the staff were extremely friendly, everything was clean, the breakfast was delicious  and we cant wait to come back.

Unique,  clean and quiet place.  Located in an interesting part of town with a fantastic breakfast included.  Service was first rate and Poters restaurant next door was first rate.  All-round a great experience.

Wonderful place in the middle of the old town. Beautiful rooms, nice and quiet with the exception of the late evening festivities on occasion - but that’s the old town. Nothing too bad!Breakfast is always a delight and the woman the hosts it all is super friendly and accommodating.

We stayed for two nights mid week.  Moore House is in the old town high street and has no parking space so had to park in nearby public car park which is only a problem if you have much luggage.  Our room, on the top floor was very clean and comfortable.Loved the decor in the breakfast/lounge.  Breakfast was lovely.  Good choice and well presented.  Danielle made us very welcome and is an excellent host.

September short break

Really nice bedroom and bathroom. Really good location in the centre of Old Town but very quiet. Real milk in the fridge for our tea! The staff were very friendly and helpful, even providing us with an early breakfast so that would have plenty of time to get to a funeral following our stay. Thank you so much, we will drfinitely be back.

Lovely, boutique B&B. check in process very simple. Room was clean and nicely decorated (RX2). Great location close to many good bars and places to eat. Breakfast was good and the staff member we saw on our stay was very friendly and smiley. Only negatives for us: no hooks or rails in the bathroom so nowhere to hang towels. Only one coat hanger provided in the wardrobe.

Great boutique B&B

A lovely hotel, very clean and the decor is contemporary but tasteful. Close to all areas of old Hastings with a good choice of restaurants and pubs close by. Breakfast is excellent whatever you choose and all the staff we met were very helpful and friendly a true gem hidden away in the old town. The only down side is that there is no parking at the hotel, but there are public car parks close by, or use Park on My Drive.

The place is spotless and clean , beautifully decorated and the breakfast was superb ( altho no dairy free yogurt available for our 2 nights stay ) . Good coffee facilities in the rooms , nice toiletries and a large ( but noisy ) fan provided in the room .We stayed in RX 6 unfortunately a pigeon had decided to nest on the roof directly above the bed and we could hear it all day and night cooing which got a bit like water torture, I know this cannot be helped but as it did impact on our stay it deserves mentioning , also the bed was sloped and my husband kept rolling towards the edge , this needs a wedge of some sort under it to level it up , again I appreciate it's an old building and is not level as we could tell from the camber of the other furniture but I feel this would have made our stay more pleasant, we actually bought some books and shoved them under the leg to level it up for our second night as the first was a struggle.The bedding and towels were lovely as was the shower and bathroom was spotlessly cleanWe did stay when the place was I believe full and of course got the squealers coming Ng in at 2.30 am making lots of noise and having complete disregarde for anyone else , again this is not something you are responsible for but maybe a notice about being quiet as the sound did travel all the way up to the top floor I would stay again , with earplugs and hopefully in a level bed next time , The staff were all very courteous at breakfast in the morning

Mostly good but a couple of hiccups

The Moore House gets all the big stuff and as well as the details. A beautiful room with a luxurious shower in a cute building right in the heart of Hastings. We didn’t have a rental car and just walked everywhere, which worked out great. The staff were all top-notch and the breakfast was something we looked forward to every day. We love this place and will stay here on our next trip to Hastings.

Clean, cozy, and relaxing

Location: perfect, in the heart of the old town and seconds walk from fabulous George Street and many great restaurants. Staff: absolutely incredible. Warm, welcoming, helpful (the housekeeper Meg - I think that was her name - took time to find info in live music for us) and the owners also kept in contact before our arrival. Breakfast: again it was superb. Had two different things from the menu in each day and the quality, taste and way it was all cooked was exceptional. Best I’ve had in years. Amenities: Huge fantastic room (RX4). Big chaise longue, plenty of seating, great en-suite, well stocked tea tray which you can replenish from supplies in the lounge area. Lounge/breakfast room incredible. Decor is fabulous. Sleep: bed was really comfy, but we didn’t sleep too well on the first night. This was not the fault of the hotel, it was blowing a 40mph wind outside and it made the sash windows rattle which was fixed with a strategically placed tea bag. It’s a grade 2 listed building, you can’t knock the owners for this. Overall 10/10

Exceptional property

A stunning little guest house, but with all the amenities you'd expect of a hotel, Moore House was a complete delight.Charlotte the owner had been amazing arranging a few things over email, and was on hand to greet us. She was warm, friendly and helpful. Most of all this truly felt lika small family business, which is always appreciated. The hotel, lounge and room itself are beautiful and well equipped. The decor is gorgeous and has character without feeling at all gimmicky or overly quirky. Everything was spotlessly clean, and there was nothing more we could have asked for in terms of facilities. Genuinely a faultless stay, will absolutely be back.

Just wonderful

We turned up soaked through on our bicycles, and were immediately given extra towels by the friendly owner.  We ate a lovely meal in Porters which they also own, while a great jazz singer performed with a lively backing duo.  The cooked to order breakfast was great, with home made granola and yoghurt to start.  Definitely going to return soon.

We chose this place for a two night stay in Hasting. Our room was 3 stories up the stairs but this was not a problem for us, We were greeted at the reception and had received a call from them to find out our ETA. We chose RX7 as it had a bath. The room it self was large enough but if you're tall you may need to duck when going in. Breakfast was not the usual laid out buffet but you got a menu and could choose from and it was all freshly cooked for you.  We loved our stay here and are planning a return trip.
