Bosinver Farm Cottages

A wonderful place to stay, very straightforward to find with easy off road parking. An excellent location for exploring Cornwall…although as it’s such a magical place you may not want to leave Bosinver. Apple cottage was modern and spacious and had everything we needed for our stay. The beds were particularly comfortable. And with the living space being upstairs it’s like staying in the most comfortable tree house surrounded by nature with wild rabbits and sheep in views across the fields. A lovely touch was the welcome pack on arrival and the welcome and warmth from the Bosinver family. The location was great too, just a short walk to the nearest village with a great shop and pub. Thank you Bosinver for a magical stay.

We have just finished a wonderful week at Bosinver. We travelled as a family of four with a five year old and two year old, and can honestly say it was perfect in every way. Despite the site being full, we still felt there was plenty of space and privacy, but then a great atmosphere at the group activities such as the forest school and daily animal feeding. Our boys loved the soft play, zip wire and Gruffalo trail. My youngest really enjoyed the pony ride, and my eldest had a great time in the swimming pool (it's brilliant that you can book private slots for free). Everyone onsite was incredibly friendly and welcoming. There were so many nice touches, such as the toy box in the lounge, the eggs the children can collect themselves at the end of animal feeding etc. Plus Bosinver is in a great location - we visited a couple of beaches, Mevagissey and Fowey, and the Lost Gardens of Heligan during our stay. All in all, wonderful!

This place is excellent. 
Came with my 4 year old and my wife and quite honestly I couldn’t have asked for a better week.

The atmosphere is amazing, it’s what you want when you go to this type of holiday. Hard to truely put into words the vibe here but once you have been you will know what I am talking about.

It’s got brilliant facilities I won’t list them just know you will not be bored if you want to spend the day on the farm.

It is also in a great location with the highlights of the holiday unexpectedly being crabbing in megavissey and the beach at perranporth. Do both!!

I rarely give 5 star reviews, but Bosinver deserves every one of them. We went as a family and my daughter-in-law said there was nothing that could have made the holiday better! The quality of the accommodation and the range of children's activities is exceptional and all so authentic, genuine and wholesome. Our 2yr old grandchildren loved the ducks and chickens that wander free, and the soft play and zip wires were a hit. The pool is fabulous. It's a paradise. Thank you to the amazing Bosinver team.

This was our second visit to Bosinver - it's a lovely place and we've already agreed we'll be coming every year until our little ones age out.  I'll keep this brief:

- The houses are lovely - they feel like actual houses that were are lived in as opposed to Airbnbs with the world's cheapest furniture in case a stag party wrecks it.  Each has its own character and pros / cons depending on what you are looking for, so worth investing in reviewing the map and descriptions on the website to choose.  We have stayed in Pear (2 bedrooms) and Laburnum (4 bedrooms) and both were excellent.
- Facilities are excellent, including activities for good and bad weather to keep little ones entertained.  Animal feeding was a daily highlight, the indoor soft play and pool are a godsend in bad weather, the pony ride / wildkids were one offs to look forward to, and the outdoor play / trails / grounds are great for sunny days.  
- Staff are attentive and present, and every request was jumped on quickly and with a smile.  I would say, if you are going in expecting premium hotel style services (dial 1000 for reception, etc.) then you will be disappointed - sometimes the front desk is unmanned, but leaving a note (as requested) always resulted in a quick response.  
- Cornwall is lovely and there are many great beaches and seaside towns within 10-30 minutes drive.  Fowey is lovely and well worth a visit, as is Charlestown for dinner.  Pentewan beach also if you get good weather.
- The value for money is very, very good considering the quality of the accommodation and facilities at no extra cost.  If you want the benefits of self catering (cooking own meals, having a house not just a room, using as a base to explore the wider area) then you are sorted.  If you want the benefits of hotel resort (lots of stuff to do, staff to support, not having to worry about every little detail) then you're sorted too.  But you don't have to choose between them!

No significant negatives.  Just go, you'll thank me later.

Just left and feel very buoyant after our stay at Bosivner. We can’t recommend this place enough. We stayed in Rose cottage which had everything we needed along with a nice modern and airy interior. Even though there are lots of cottages they don’t back on to each other so you actually feel like you’re in your own farm.

We came with our 2&1/2 yr old son and he loved it here. Every morning we fed the animals which he thoroughly enjoyed. Every evening we swam in the pool which was warm and a nice depth .

We also used the outdoor playground full of fun equipment including a Wendy house with an upstairs and a massive trampoline.

Along with the idyllic setting that was peaceful with the back drop of birds singing and chickens, ducks and rabbits never far away, the people who run it are lovely. Farmer Dave even gifted us some eggs to take home.

Finally the location is perfect, we did excursions to St Ives, Padstow, New Quay and the Eden project. There is so much to do in this part of Cornwall.

All in all we loved Bosinver and will definitely come back.

We love Bosinver; this was our third stay. Facilities top notch as usual and the children loved the pool, play barn, wild kids with Tatum and of course animal feeding with Farmer Dave and Helen and Paul. Special thanks to the extra help from Dave’s grandchildren, Sam and Jaz , who are shaping up nicely as members of the team!!

We stayed in trerose this time - lovely and comfortable with wonderful light and views. Who needs the sunshine?

From the moment we arrived and met young Sam at front desk we knew this was going to be a special holiday. 
We booked Pear cottage for the week for the last week of September, looking at the weather on the Friday we had our worries but we had nothing to worry about. 

Our cottage was spot on. Clean, comfy and beautifully decorated. 

Animal feeding with farmer Dave each morning was the highlight for our 2 year old daughter. Ducks, Chickens, Goats, Doves, sheep, Lambs. Watching her confidence grow through the week around the above was a joy. 

Pony ride in the week 👍

Soft play was a large clean building with plenty to keep everyone occupied 👍

Swimming pool was lovely and warm, modern and clean. 👍

Both kids and big kids parks were perfect our little one loving the big slide and zip line 👍

The gruffalo trail and lake was also a firm favourite for both the young one (gruffalo trail) and myself (the lake) the lake being a lovely peaceful walk 👍

Unfortunately we missed the wild kids due to the little one having a nap but did have a walk around and it looked great. 
It’s location is superb for exploring the coast 👍

Beach hut (wet suits, body boards, buckets and spades etc) 
I could go on and on!! 

No matter what the weather forecast rain or shine, Bosinver has plenty on offer to keep all its guests entertained.

Bosinver have gone all out to provide the perfect get away, no corners cut and no expense spared, all whilst being environmentally conscious and thoroughly engaging.

The whole site is great. Brilliant for the grandchildren and adults. Lovely, well designed cottages that do not overlook each other. A brilliant indoor pool and beautifully concealed and created play areas. Longer walks for older children and adults. The daily feeding of the animals with Farmer Dave a real hit with all. The only downside was the lack of a seperate toilet in the cottage. Both in ensuitrs so a bit of a problem for the other bedrooms.occupiers. A really lovely place within easy reach of lovely beaches, The Eden Project and the Lost Gardens. Highly recommended.

If you are looking for 24hour entertainment with flashing lights, this is not the place for you.
What this is, is a magical place for children of all ages to return to just being children. 
The accommodation is spotless, every item within each of the varied cottages is of the highest standard. There has been a lot of thought put into this. The focus is on a true family experience. The Bosinver Team cater for every need, with quality equipment. Even a cake in the fridge to welcome you after a long journey.
Every day was started by the simplicity of kids waiting to climb over a gate and wait for Marvin the Cockerel and Farmer Dave to share the experience of feeding the Chickens, Ducks, Sheep and Goats. Finished off with a cherished egg to carefully carry home.

A great base to enjoy all that Cornwall has to offer.
Will certainly be returning, as Grandparents we might just forget the kids and come on our own.

Love this place!

Lovely relaxing family holiday

We've been here before and thoroughly enjoyed it. This time we stayed in Lowen. 

Lowen is a very well appointed property, that is well designed and family friendly. 
It's an eco home so it holds heat very well. As a result it can get very warm but theres plenty of windows to open. We were lucky enough to have the master bedroom which is sumptuous and bright. The bed is vast. The shower is a bit feeble but apart from that it's a splendid bathroom. The second upstairs bedroom has a large framed 4 poster bed, but with a standard double mattress. The mattress could do with being bigger. Downstairs is open plan and brilliant for socialising. It could do with some brighter lights but other than that it was just a cracking holiday home. We loved it. 

The site owners are an excellent team that take great care to make your stay enjoyable. They addressed any issues we had promptly. The pool was immaculate as ever and the games room and play barn were spotless. The site is very safe for kids to wander about too. Theres lots to explore. 

We stayed during Halloween and the kids loved the activities laid on by the team.

Its testament to how great this place is for kids that even in the rain (and it rained all week for us) our holiday here was just brilliant. 

Some reviewers have commented on the fact that the site is by a main road. It is and if you're looking for a completely back of beyond farm, then this isnt it. The road noise isnt intrusive and in parts of the site you cant hear it at all. 

I cant recommend this place more strongly for families.
