The Cambo Estate is centuries old. The main house is private to casual visitors but the rest of the estate is open to the public. There is an excellent quaint cafe in the converted stable block served by friendly staff and a shop selling crafts and gardening accoutrements. The huge walled garden has an entrance fee. It is full of colour and seating to drink in the quietness. There are walks through the woods to the beach and the snowdrops are out in early spring. The family run estate is doing its best to make visitors welcome and deserves support.
