My family and I stayed here on Tuesday for one night and wow, what a lovely little B&B. Located within 10 mins walk of the chaos of Skeg on a quiet road (with a couple of takeaways and shops located nearby). We even took a Chinese back for a late night feast. Dave was ready waiting with plates & cutlery for us.
Lots of personal touches such as complimentary hot drinks machine, replenished fridges full of milk, soft drinks and snacks. Swim nappies were also available just in case. All the kids were treated to a sweet bag and cuddly toy on departure.
Breakfast was 10/10 - plenty of choice. 
Rooms were very spacious and clean. 
Can’t fault it. Thank you Dave & Jane, I’m sure we’ll be back next year 

Stayed at this hotel for one night  with friends as it had been recommended to us and it was lovely  . 
The staff are very friendly, the rooms are good, the breakfast was superb and you are treated to free water , drinks and snacks from the fridge.
Greeted with a smile on arrival and waved off when you leave,  this is the place to stay in Skegness. 
Customer service at it's best.


Very clean accommodation,  friendly and helpful staff..Would Highly Recommend..Excellent parking facilities, convenient to local attractions which are in walking distance..Ideal location for family vacation, loads to see and do in Skegness..

We stayed here for 4 nights with our 2 children and was amazed by how good it was David and Jane welcomed us straight away and throughout the whole holiday was welcoming and made us feel at home, they had so much to offer drinks whenever you wanted hot or cold on offer all day, the front room has pool table, colouring corner and toys for the kids ect, the breakfast was delicious and lots to pick from, the hosts really go out of there way for there guests and it showed if we are back in skegness we would be coming back to this hotel without a second thought even gave my kids a goodbye toy, thank you for a great stay 🙂

The couple who run this hotel are an absolute delight, very welcoming and extremely helpful. From arrival to departure they made sure we were comfortable and had everything we need for an enjoyable stay. They provide so many extras on top of a well equipped room. We had a very comfortable night and the breakfast was outstanding. I fully recommend a stay here. I wish we had booked for more than one night.

We stayed at Caxton House for the 1st time Sat 10th June for 1 night. 2 adults & 1 teenager. As soon as we pulled up, one word.....WOW! 
A very nice looking hotel raised from the quite cul-de-sac where it is situated. First things noted, ample free private off street parking, a foot wash for sandy feet, an electric vehicle charging port, numerous outside seating around a small fountain. The  owner (Dave) came out to greet is on arrival. Wendy (I'm assuming his wife) was at the reception desk. Both very friendly. Asked if we'd like some drinks from the fridge to take up to our room. We were out in room 7. Another word.....WOW. Very nicely decorated and very comfortable with a private BALCONY over looking the cul-de-sac, a very quite street. You could see the sea from the balcony. A very nice toilet / shower room. There was a communal type room next to us with boards games and a fridge containing milk, juice & water if we needed it. All complimentary. 
We went out for the evening but came back about 1030pm.
Next morning breakfast was at 830. The breakfast room was probably one of the best I've ever seen! A large selection of self-service hot drinks, a large selection of cereals (including GF), juice, yogurts, fruit, croissants etc. It was all perfectly arranged and such a massive choice. A cooked breakfast was served with thick slices of Tiger bread. Very nice & very hot. The hotel also has a lounge with board games, a pool table, a kids drawing / colouring area and a COCKTAIL ARCADE GAMES CABINET. All these were free.
Checkout was at 10am, maybe very slightly early but not an issue to detract from the overall experience.
Anyone giving this accommodate less than 5 stars needs a complete reality check! We've stayed in many hotels and I can honestly say that Caxton House is one of the best.
I am very, very impressed given all the extras other hotels wouldn't even dream of giving. It's only a 5min walk from the most fantastic sandy beach and just a 9-10min walk along a straight road to the centre of Skegness.
We will 💯 be staying here again without hesitation.

We had a one night stay here last month to visit family and Dave was brilliant from the second we arrived greeting us at the front door asking how our drive was and couldn't be more helpful. 
We got talking on the night time when me and my partner was having a drink and playing pool and he is a really down to earth lovely guy. He even gave us 2 teddies to take home to our daughter which was a really nice touch. Would 100% recommend a stay here and the breakfast was brilliant. Thankyou for a nice stay! 

Dave is a brilliant host, Jane was lovely at breakfast. Both are so friendly and genuine. 
We stayed for one night, I would have loved to have stayed longer. 
We had a triple family with balcony which was perfect for us and our little one. Cot made up on arrival with a selection of bedding was much appreciated. The toddler toys in the room were a lovely touch, and took the pressure off unpacking keeping our toddler occupied. 
The outside of the property was beautifully maintained with plenty of seating outside for enjoying the sea air in the evening. As it was we sat on our balcony enjoying a cheeky glass of wine while our little one went to sleep. 
Our room(no 7) was beautifully clean and nicely decorated and felt spacious and roomy. The carpet felt very soft and warm underfoot, not cheap and thin as is often used. 
Bed was comfortable and towels were soft. 
We only stayed one night, but I’m wishing we stayed more. I’m trying to find an excuse to return!

Caxton House was all we wished for and wanted. Jane and David are friendly, helpful and convivial hosts. They provide a lot for the price. Our room was clean, tidy and not too tight, layout was thoughtful. Complimentary tray was more comprehensive than most and top ups were readily available. Bed comfortable, en-suite fine, electric shower so not hi pressure but ok anyway. All the usual liquids and 'bits' provided. Room heating easy to control and warmer than we needed. Lovely 'station' rooms/areas with chilled drinks, fresh milk, filtered water, microwave, iron/board, books and games. Lounge has large screen tv, games console and plenty of comfy seating. Breakfast was of high quality and more than enough to start the day with. Wifi best I have encountered in a hotel. Parking a tad tight if busy but off road and cctv covered. Jane and David also have a very welcome view on re-cycling/green aspects. The hotel is about a 5-minute drive from most amenities but in a quiet cul-de-sac position We would have no hesitation in returning or recommending to others. Hope this is helpful as a guide, tried to be as comprehensive as possible.

Went for an overnight stay. 
Nice, quiet road. Free parking a good bonus. 
There's brushes for dirty boots and a tap for sandy feet if you've come off the beach, a well thought out extra on the outside of the building. There was also outside seating. 
On entering the property, it was clean, light and airy. The owners were there ready to greet us, and took us up to our room. 
The room was very clean, there was an information guide that was very, very good and even included a seeing kit in the room. The room also included a very good selection of teas, coffees and hot chocolates. 
The bathroom was spotless and well set out. 
The entire room and its facilities had really been thought out from the point of view of the customer and their every possible need. 
On the landing of the first floor there's a room where you can get filtered water by the bottle, apple juice, milk and extra glasses. There were also books and jigsaws. 
On the bottom floor there was a games centre and a place to sit, socialise and relax. 
The breakfast was wonderful. It was filling, there was a good variety, couldn't fault a thing. It was well decorated and clean, hosts were pleasant and interacted just the right amount- not too intrusive, but also friendly. They're obviously very experienced and very good at what they do. 
Had a wonderful stay, and wouldn't stay anywhere else in the area. 
If you're not staying here, you're absolutely missing out. 
Will be back!

We needed an overnight stop in Skegness and stayed at Caxton House for one night. 

We had a warm welcome from Dave and Jane and were provided with refreshments, before being shown to our room. 

Everything was spotlessly clean, and the room was very comfortable and nicely decorated.  Lovely balcony - great for good weather. 

Breakfast was excellent, plenty of choice, and set us up for the day. 

David and Jane were fantastic hosts, thoughtful, and went out of their way to make us feel at home.  

We couldn’t have chosen a better place to stay.
