33 reviewsWe normally stay in 4* hotels for most things if we can, but we had a free night given to us at this Guest House and decided to book a second night to extend our stay as the reviews were good and the pictures looked lovely. Well, we were very glad we did. The rooms are beautifully clean and the one we had was lovely and spacious. The bathroom was small but perfectly formed with more than enough of everything. The owner and staff were very very welcoming and we had lovely chats about all sorts of things. Breakfast was good and plenty to eat and they were happy to adjust as necessary. The bed was quite soft, but turned out to be comfortable. The only thing that was in need of some adjustment were the curtains as they were not quite wide enough for the full window, but there were also blinds so it was only a case of light ingress, not people seeing in. The noise from the high street was as to be expected, bin men, revelers etc, but nothing to disturb during the night really. There was someone in the room next to us, and we heard nothing from them so the soundproofing seems good internally.
