What a wonderful find Went to celebrate out 50th wedding anniversary. The Cottage Hotel is situated in a beautiful friendly village. The staff are all very friendly but also very professional and efficient at the same time. Both the Breakfasts and the Evening Meals were excellent and value for money (The breakfast was included in the room price/ The evening meal was Extra) The room (Honeysuckle) was large and the bed very comfortable. The bathroom had a beautiful new Shower and the room was very quite as it had newly fitted double glazing. The property needs a little TLC in places but as you can see from my comments above they are being carried out. In these times of high labour / material costs this will take time. I must mention the evening Bar Man:- James he was full of local knowledge (So were the other staff). He was quite a conversationalist during the evening. I fully recommend this establishment and would have no hesitation on rebooking next time We are in the area.
