Seaholm Bed And Breakfast

Just back from a wonderful weekend stay with family at the Seaholm. From the moment we arrived Lorena provided first class hospitality.  Our rooms were beautifully presented and immaculately clean as were the bathrooms. It’s a stunning property and the views are incredible. Breakfast was delicious and Lorena’s homemade sour dough rolls were very popular amongst us. Nothing was too much trouble and we were very well looked after from start to finish.

My husband and I spent 6 weeks touring the UK and ended our trip at the beachfront Seaholm B&B, little did we realize we were saving the best for last!  

We couldn’t have asked for a more welcoming, accommodating, and gracious hostess. We arrived by bus from Edinburgh, and Lorena insisted on picking us up. We booked the Courtyard Room which was very clean and had everything we needed to be cozy and comfortable. We woke to the smell of fresh baking bread/buns which Lorena served for breakfast; delicious, as were the other variety of items for offer, including Lorena’s made to order hot breakfast items.  Her recommendations for dining in the area were great. This was our home away from home that we will return to for future visits to North Berwick.  Thank you, Lorena for creating a most memorable stay.

A lovely stay - close to the town centre and beach and about a 20 minute walk from the rail station.  Very well looked after with very good breakfasts to set you up for the day.  It is an older property so the rooms are not en-suite, but you have a perfectly good private bathroom nearby.  A comfortable room, very relaxing.

Great BnB - Lorena was an extremely accommodating hostess with nothing too much to ask.  The twin room was comfortable and a very good bathroom.  Loved the Italian coffee in particular.  Great location on teh beachfront with easy parking close by.  Very close to North Berwick Golf Club.  Dinner recommendations were good - particularly teh Italian Restaurant!  We had a nice time there too.

This is a fantastic place to stay! Lorena is a wonderful hostess; we were warmly welcomed, tea was served, properly, with a sensational homemade raspberry & Coconut cake, in the very nice lounge/breakfasting room, overlooking the beach and Bass Rock. Our ground floor bedroom was comfortable & nicely decorated, not en-suite but we had our own bathroom next door with bathrobes provided. Breakfast was superb, lovely selection of fruits, cereals, juice, and a cooked to order breakfast. Local amazing soaps/shower gel/conditioner. Water, coffee/tea and biscuits in the room… could not recommend this highly enough!!

This b&b should have more than 5 stars: so comfortable and the location is perfect, close to the small town/village of North Berwick and across from the beach.    Lorena was the more-than-perfect hostess, continually offering help and assistance.   The breakfast was plentiful. varied, freshly cooked and delicious.   I wish my stay could have been longer.   I am looking forward to my next visit - a home away from home.

There is only one problem with staying at Seaholm and that is that it will spoil you for everything else as Lorena puts her heart and soul into running Seaholm.  You will not find a kinder more generous host. The breakfasts, home-made cake in the afternoon and all of the little touches made it very special and the homemade bread is really delicious.   Lorena very kindly made a special meal for our friends on the last evening and we all said "what more could you ask for".

We hope that everything you do for others comes back a hundred fold to you Lorena.

We recently stayed here in the Bass Rock view room with the beautiful sea view out of the big bay window. The super king bed was sumptuously comfortable. The homecooked breakfasts were excellent with loads of healthier alternatives of fresh fruit, dried fruits, yoghurt, porridge etc. The private bathroom was exceptionally clean and very well stocked with top quality toiletries. The delightful lady owner Lorena runs it all herself and is a wonderful hostess. Nothing was too much trouble, she could not be more accommodating and even gave us free cake and delicious biscuits made by herself fresh that day. We can't thank her enough. We will definitely be making a return visit and would highly recommend this accomodation to anyone visiting North Berwick.

We stayed in the best room I have ever stayed in in my life The Bass Rock Room,stunning views,the bed was incredibly comfortable and we loved Lorena 's interior design skills as it was stylish and welcoming  the sofa looking out onto the beach and the Bass Rock has the most amazing views.
Our breakfasts were excellent! Delicious green juice,Yogurt granola and berries fruit and the most amazing protein balls made of dates and seeds!! Super healthy and smoked salmon and scrambled eggs,the quality and the presentation is Top Dollar ,
Your homemade Cakes were magnificent!! 
Forget staying anywhere else Seaholm is The Ultimate Destination. 
Lorena has a gift and is The World's Finest House,the breakfast table was laid out impeccably. 
Everything was Bellissimo and Lorena you have made our holiday magical.

The perfect place for a visit to the beautiful North Berwick. We were greeted with a warm welcome and made to feel at home from the moment we arrived. Nothing was too much trouble and it was a shame we could only stay for one night. A lovely room, beautiful view, amazing breakfast and I would highly recommend. Thank you 😊
