Lovely place to spend a few day's, wonderful hosts in Emma and Mark, the house and rooms were spotless, excellent breakfast, and just a short stroll out of town in a quiet corner of Richmond, would definitely stay again.great place to spend some time.

Convenient, well appointed, quiet, with helpful hosts. I will book again, in the future.

My partner and I went to Richmond for a couple of days chill out before the rush of winter is upon us. I have horses and just needed some time out to recharge my batteries.

West End Guest House is a lovely place to stay. We were met by Emma who could notave been more helpful. The room (3) was comfortable, well set out and had everything we needed. The bed was comfortable, the pillows were amazingly soft. The bathroom altho small was ample foir us, supplied with toiletries etc, we didnt use these as we took our own.

The b&b is a short walk into Richmond however we got a taxi. Ample parking too

The breakfasts are really really good, first night we pre ordered the full English, however we couldnt finish it, next day we ordered a sandwich for y OH and poached eggs on toast for me. Cannot fault it at all.

This is deservedly a 5* review from me 

We have just returned from a three nights stay.brillant thanks to Emma and Mark! lovely comfortable spotlessly clean room and the best breakfast ever with so much to choose from.friendly hosts and nothing to much trouble.we will definitely be back 

The West End Guest House is a little gem. Beautiful property and  the owner is very welcoming. Breakfast was delicious. We would definitely stay there again

Had a nice 3 day break. Emma & Mark are a really nice couple and will make sure your stay with them will be a pleasant one.

This is a perfect guest house. The hosts are so welcoming, nothing is too much trouble. Our room was lovely, could not fault a thing! All the little extra touches just made this a fabulous stay. The house is immaculately clean. Free parking too, and just a short walk into Richmond. Breakfast was also great! 

Fantastic guest house with very congenial, helpful and friendly hosts.  I stayed en-route to Scotland with my motorbike.  A special parking space was reserved for me on tarmac and not gravel.  They made every effort to meet my Gluten Free requirements - and made an exceptionally tasty and filling cooked breakfast - that was GF! Assistance was also provided in getting a taxi in to the centre of Richmond as I can't walk far.  The room, bed and bathroom were all 5star.  A true nugget. 

We stopped at west end house on the way up to Scotland, even in our short stay we were wowed by the rooms and setting. The couple couldn’t be anymore helpful and welcoming with excellent service! Would definitely recommend!

A lovely, well-maintained small guest house with excellent facilties. Our room was compact but perfectly adequate for a short stay. The ensuite was cleverly tucked up a couple of steps. Our breakfast was perfectly cooked and presented. The only factor missing was the warmth of hospitality. We did not appreciate the petty Do's and Don't notices; the requirement to indicate a precise time for breakfast and the specific menu the evening before, and, most of all, the rude interruption of our breakfast with a request to settle our account ! With a warmer, friendlier atmosphere this would be a 5-star guest house.

Truly comfortable night in a B&B

a very clean and quiet guest house , just a short walk to the town centre where you will find plenty to do. very friendly hosts, nothing was too much trouble for them . we stayed in room 4 which was very clean and tidy with great deco , king-size bed was comfortable we had a great sleep , bathroom was a good size with shower . a pre ordered breakfast was first class with good quality products . next time we want to visit Richmond we will definitely stay here again 10/10 also great position for walks along the river .

What a lovely bed n breakfast. Hosts Emma and Mark were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. We had room 4 which was lovely, the on suite was beautiful, shower was excellent. Breakfast was spot on, couldn't fault it and a choice of options too.  Plenty of private parking at the property which was great. only a 10 minute walk into the market square, plenty of bars shops and restaurants to choose from. Was a pleasure to stop at this lovely home.

2 night stay

We had an overnight stay here in July en route to Northumberland. 
We was met by the owner on are arrival. 
He showed us to our rooms and gave us our breakfast menu to choose from ready for the morning. 
The room was nicely decorated. Comfy beds and a quiet nights sleep considering it’s close to the road.  There was a good variety of tea bags, coffee, hot chocolate, biscuits. Etc on the tea tray. Also fresh milk on request. Nothing was too much trouble. 
Breakfast tasty and again nothing was too much trouble.

Friendly B and B

My friend and I came to Richmond for an afternoon drinking and stayed at this B and B, absolutely gorgeous house , plenty of parking , room was gorgeous, beds really comfy,  loads of little extras in room, water , assorted coffee and teas ,  the breakfast was excellent plenty of choice, the 2 owners couldn't do enough for you,  Will definitely book again

We arrived early afternoon and left the car at WEGH and walked the short distance into Richmond Market Place.
On return, we were welcomed, asked for breakfast orders to be completed and shown to our room.
Whilst the day was extremely hot at 28°C, the room was cool and well aired.
The room was well appointed and very clean. Bed was firm, which we prefer, and bed linen & pillows were of a good quality.
After a good night's sleep, we enjoyed a cooked English breakfast,  again of high quality,  and other options were available. 
We were made to feel very welcome in a Covid-19 safe environment.  We will return.

A lovely stay

What a wonderful Guest House, Emma and Mark are the perfect hosts nothing was too much trouble even giving fresh milk for the room which you don’t get at more expensive hotels. The room was spacious and had a lovely comfy bed, nice big bathroom with nice fluffy towels. Breakfast was superb with plenty of choice would definitely recommend this property to anyone visiting Richmond
