Quintessentially English and a great spot that's just a few minutes out of Windsor Town centre down a leafy lane. Welcoming, efficient hospitality with comfortable beds, and good breakfast offerings, including full English. There's a gasto pub at the end of the road, so an evening meal is also just two minutes' walking distance. Highly recommended, I'd definitely come here again. 

A wonderful stay at The Old Farmhouse! Check in was super quick and easy (thank you Kirsty) and the room was comfortable and spotless! The breakfast was fantastic, I had the sweet waffles and my partner had the full English. The fresh fruit, juice and tea on offer were a lovely touch. A superb stay. Thank you!

We had the pleasure of staying at this fantastic house.  If you are looking for a period building with tons of character this is it.  Just over 2 miles from  busy Windsor we left our car and got taxis in and out but there is a public bus service.  Debbie and her staff were delightful.  We were greeted and made to feel very welcome by Debbie.  Breakfast is first class.  It's a peaceful setting tho you might hear some planes flying over but they didn't bother us.  There is an excellent pub just a very short walk away called The Green Oak where we enjoyed a terrific meal, Debbie had recommended it and it was well worth a visit, Great staff and you get 10% discount if you mention you are staying with Debbie.  We will definitely use The Old Farmhouse again when wr are visiting Windsor.

Had a wonderful three night stay here and loved it. The whole team looked after us wonderfully. Our room was lovely, light and airy with a very comfy bed. Set back from the road it was very peaceful with a private garden to relax on after a busy day. Breakfast was delicious. Only a couple of miles from Windsor so perfect to visit the castle and out for dinner. We also walked to The Greene Oak pub just down the road for an excellent meal. Also a great location for visiting Kew Gardens, Hampton Court Palace, Runnymede and Strawberry Hill, all only 30-40 mins away. On site parking was also a bonus. We would definitely recommend staying here.

We booked a suite in this fabulous 15th century hotel for just one night but wished we had stayed longer.
The manageress, Debbie, greeted us warmly & the spacious suite was bursting with original features: Oak beams & doorways, very comfy beds with lovely fresh smelling linen. The whole establishment was spotless & the breakfast was the best we've ever had in a b&b.

The previous reviews are,t wrong, it has to be a must place to stay if you are near or visiting Windsor. The atmosphere of this old building speaks for itself as does our contact Debbie who made sure that everything was perfect, then left us to treat it as our family home.  You will never get a better breakfast either. Lovely place all round. Free car parking is a bonus and Windsor Castle is just a 10 minute drive away.

Spent a few days visiting Windsor and this was a lovely little find for us and two children. Met the host on our arrival who was lovely throughout our stay. As it was Halloween the kids spotted the trick or treat bowl of sweets in the reception hall so they were happy from the off. 

We booked the family room (adjoining bedroom) which allowed us to put the kids to bed after some full on days out. (A room tip - the shower doesn’t have pressure for standing which was fine for a couple of nights and wifi patchy). Setting of the place was lovely with traditional wooden beams throughout. Rooms had tv and tea and coffee making facilities. 

The breakfast - I’d return for this alone! Fresh fruit, cereals, a cooked breakfast to your liking! Just amazing!! 

Would highly recommend and I’d certainly return.

ABSOLUTELY PERFECT!

The Old Farmhouse, and its staff of Debbie, Kirsty, Barbara, and a couple other helpers I only met briefly, is a fabulous, historic, scrupulously clean, comfy and accommodating place to stay. A real ‘home from home’. Its four charming en suite rooms and suites are nicely decorated, with thoughtful amenities, plenty of outlets, and well equipped bathrooms, some with full showers. 
The breakfasts are cooked to order, and range from yoghurt and cereal thru to a full english. They even offer black pudding, which totally sold me!
Helpful, friendly, and devoted to making their guests’ stay as wonderful as possible, if anything is not right, the staff will do what it takes to make it so.
An utterly charming 15 th century building with exposed beams, leaded windows, and a unique front door bell. The Old Farmhouse is close enough to walk to a convenience store and two restaurants. The Farmhouse even allows guests to being in takeaways!
I shall be returning, i hope many times, to my new base in England, and look forward to spending more time in the cheerful and welcoming company of the Farmhouse and its brilliant staff!

Wonderful welcome from Debbie, who showed us to our room.  The exposed beams in the building were charming, took you back to the 15th century (when the building was built) and so much history.  Our room overlooked the garden, which was lovely.  Comfy bed and spacious room. Breakfast was delicious with cereals, juices, fresh fruit and a cooked breakfast to order thanks Collette.  We asked Debbie to recommend a place to have dinner, she said go to the Greene Oak, which is in walking distance, and she also said if we mention the Old Farmhouse, we will get a discount on the meal.    Free parking. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend the Old Farmhouse.  Thanks Collette and Debbie xo 

my father and I stayed here for a night, we were attending the local triathlon on Downey Lake. we booked the room last min and I thought it would just be somewhere to lay our heads but we got so much more than that. we were welcomed by Debbie who could not have been nicer, the whole building and facilities are clearly very well looked after. the rooms were clean, cosy and the beds were like soft clouds. breakfast in the morning was AMAZING I can't believe this came in the price of my room. I will find a reason to make another visit here, I really enjoyed my stay. thank you all at The Old Farm House x

Olde English house meets modern hospitality 

A great stop over, we broke our holiday journey up with a stop at Windsor. The B & B is set back off the road with parking. It is within walking distances of places to eat out. The accommodation was comfortable. The breakfast selection was great, cereals, porridge, croissants, toast served with either a cooked breakfast or sweet waffles. The only reason I put 4 stars (it’s not something that can be changed). I didn’t realise that Windsor was the flight path for planes coming in at Heathrow, during daytime it was fine, but in the evening (when you’re used to quiet in the countryside) the aeroplanes are coming in every 2-3mins over the top of you, I wished I had ear plugs as it was difficult to go to sleep, it did stop between 11 and 5. The staff that greeted us were very friendly and helped with my queries, I would recommend this accommodation but also be aware of noise if your used to quiet.
