Stayed for two nights as was attending a family funeral. The staff were excellent and very helpful. The bed was comfortable and the room and toilet were clean. Hotel was warm throughout,  breakfast was very good and the bar prices were very reasonable.

The staff here were lovely couldn’t do enough for you. Rooms were clean. There isn’t a lot of parking on site but there is a pay & display across the road.

Difficult to fault this place for the money paid.  Rooms are spotlessly clean, if a little dated.  Staff are very friendly and helpful and allowed us to store our bikes in the room for a bike park Wales trip the following day.  Good breakfast for all.  Would definitely recommend and would stay again

Lovely welcome from Sue who briefed me fully as it was my first time stay. Informed me of the various eating options in the town, though in the morning I enjoyed a whopper of a cooked breakfast - top drawer.Room and bathroom very comfortable, good shower and a very comfortable nights sleep with plenty of pillows. Good parking and access. This will be my go-to overnight stay at the top of the valleys. Thank you Sue.

Friendly and helpful staff convenient location close to centre of town sensibly priced

It was strange to get to but it was cheap, convenient, and quick.  The bed and shower was good enough for our needs, and it came with a full English to order in the morning.

The Level Inn was perfect for our stay. We were walking in the Brecon Beacons and it was within great proximity to Blorenge and Sugar Loaf mountain and Abergavenny.  The room was clean, had a socket either side of the bed, tea and coffee making facilities with kettle. It was fantastic value for money and included a nice cooked breakfast.  The staff were lovely; very friendly and helpful.  Would definitely stay there again

The staff were so friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and had everything for a 2 night stay.  The cooked breakfast was very good. Would have liked some fruit and cereal as an alternative but no complaints.Enjoyable stay. Thank you.

The things that stood out the most was how incredibly friendly was every staff member in the hotel and how clean the hotel was, my room smelled nice when I arrived. Breakfast was good, it’s a shame that advertised dinner service was not available on neither days off my stay.The Negative point is non existent sound insulation and super loud kids at almost 11pm.

Would come back.

My go-to stay in the upper valleys.

Simple basic hotel in a mostly residential area, fine for 1 night stay, good full English breakfast included, friendly helpful staff.  We had a disabled room with a huge wet room style bathroom, clearly very helpful for a guest with mobility issues.  Only downside was the very small hand basin.  Would stay again when in the area.

Very nice hotel inside, needs some maintenance on the outside. Nice size rooms and big bathroom, cleaned and fresh towels daily. Tea/coffe fatalities and very helpful if more milk is needed. The corners on the bed base are very sharp, left me bruised as the bed is quite close the wall so not much space to walk round. Breakfast was lovely, freshly cooked and very quick. Very friendly staff and welcoming.

Lovely stay

Two night stay in the accessable room. Greeted by a very friendly receptionist.The room was spacious and clean with plenty of room for my wheelchair.Best of all the bathroom is a wet room which despite a little wear and tear was well set out and very easy to use.Breakfast is included and was good quality and plentiful.The location is a bit of a backstreet but was very quiet and parking isn't an issue.Overall excellent value and I will be using again..

Booked online appx a week beforehand Didn't arrive until 22.00 but was welcomed by a lovely young lady who booked us in & gave us the wifi password then showed us to our room.The room was clean with a shower room, tv, tea/coffee facilities & the bed was comfy.In the morning the breakfast was good & cooked to order. The staff were fantastic & very welcoming 10/10

This hotel is well situated for exploring the Brecons. Very reasonably priced. I'm afraid I would have to describe it as sub-Travelodge, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. I like Travelodge and economy lodgings. Large room for a triple. Light from the hallway could be seen through the covered glass above the door. Curtains lacked a blackout lining. Emergency lighting in the room glowed. Cooked breakfast was fine. Popular with guests, many had to queue to wait for a table. Meanwhile service was slow at the table due to insufficient staff in the kitchen. Staff on reception and kitchen were fantastic, just more help required in the kitchen to speed things up. Not fair on the 2 of them. Elsewhere I've seen comments that it's difficult to find. Yes it's behind terraced housing, but the satnav will get you there with no problems. Car park is just about big enough. I would stay there again, due to its location and price.

Economy hotel in a good location

What a lovely friendly hotel.We were welcomed the minute we arrived-we asked to see the room on arrival as we had been dissappointed on the last hotel we had seen. The young gentleman on reception was great and couldn’t have been more helpful. We checked in then left for our planned day. On our return later in the evening we were greeted by a lovely lady who couldn’t have been more helpful. The following morning we had breakfast which was great and so was the service - a lovely lady. If you’re planning a stay here - do it! You won’t be disappointed with this clean lovely place to stay in Wales with great friendly staff. We are planning another stay there later in the year when next come to wales. Thank you everyone
