The perfect end to end our C2C journey. Claire and Nigel were welcoming and thoughtful and the perfect place for us to stay at the end of our walk b place   The house is beautiful, stylish, yet very homely. Couldn’t recommend Lee-Side highly enough.

What a superb place with super friendly hosts in Claire and Nigel.  Amazing rooms with really comfortable beds and spotless bathrooms. Breakfast was amazing choice and really well cooked. The house its self is stunning. Highly recommended

We stayed at Lee-side B&B at the end of our Coast to Coast walk organised by Contours. Very conveniently located for the trail and for the bus stop to go home. Friendly, helpful hostess. Lovely large bedroom with ensuite with clever night lighting.  Very quiet & peaceful. Great breakfast.

Nigel and Claire are delightful . They welcomed us to their beautiful bed and breakfast and made us feel immediately at home . Nothing was too much trouble . Bedroom was spacious and bed very comfy . Spent a Saturday evening here as a quick getaway, and what a lovely place to stay. We arrived in bad weather to be greeted with complimentary tea and cake. The room was spacious,  clean and very comfy,  and the breakfast gorgeous.  Claire and Nigel are very welcoming hosts,  wouldn't hesitate to stay again, and we will.

The perfect B&B in this lovely Bay.. Warm welcome from the owner on arrival. Street parking without problem. Very comfortable, large en-suite room. Immaculately clean throughout, including lounge area for residents. Lots of thoughtful touches everywhere, with a keen eye for detail. A delicious breakfast too.

Overall, the best B&B we’ve stayed in.

We stayed with Clare at Lee-Side on the last day of our Coast to Coast Walk. It was wonderful to walk into a beautiful home and leave our bags before we made our walk down to the sea. The house is beautiful, fascinating and immaculate. Clare was also so helpful in giving transportation guidance and answered queries quickly. Our breakfast was excellent. As we left later in the morning, Clare made us very comfortable as we waited. Very, very kind and caring. Lovely stay.

This was where I stayed on my last night on a solo Coast to Coast walk I completed in June 2023.

Weary, and at the end of my 2 weeks walking, I was so grateful for the warm welcome from Claire. I was made to feel so at home in her lovely b&b. 

The room was very ample, the views great, and the breakfast more than I could have asked.

After a day of walking in the North York Moors I received the most lovely welcome from Nigel and Claire at Lee Side. A warm welcoming drink. My room was wonderful. Spacious and clean a comfy bed for a perfect nights sleep. 
A wonderful choice for breakfast which was delicious. Definitely at the top of my list for favourite places to stay. 

We stayed here at the end of our coast to coast hike, and what a great place to end the long walk.  The B&B was very very nice very comfortable. Our rooms were very large beds were comfortable.  They have a great sitting room where you can drink some port or Sherry at the end of the day.  Claire is the host was very, very friendly and very knowledgeable, and helped with the number of things, including doing our laundry, getting us a taxi, arranged and letting us know where to go and eat in Robin Hood’s bay. 

Also, the location is great. It’s on a nice quiet street away from the touristy crowds, yet close enough at four or five minute walk into town.   .

Would highly recommend staying here at the end of your coast to coast

Great B&B to stay after Coast 2 Coast

A warm welcome for a weary traveller on a Friday night (nice cup of tea, Claire).
The place is very well-presented, comfortable and SPOTLESSLY clean. Oh, and breakfast was very tasty too!
On the whole a very relaxing stay with attentive but unobtrusive hosts. Within 2 minutes walk to the bus stop. A fairly regular bus service runs to Scarborough and Whitby (6 miles), so you can have a pint of two.
The village of Robin's Hood Bay has a good selection of places to eat and the portions are fairly sizeable - you don't really need to leave (and I certainly didn't want to).
I would unreservedly recommend Lee-Side for a break away! Recharge your batteries and take in the beautiful scenery, just a stone's throw away from the front door.

You won't be disappointed!

We have just returned from a wonderfully relaxing stay at Lee-Side. With such a warm welcome from owner Claire it felt like a home from home. My young daughter was made such a lovely fuss of, with board games and books set out for her arrival. Our room was spacious and very comfortable. The accommodation was clean, cosy and elegantly decorated with period finishes, in keeping with the style of the property. Breakfast was tasty, there was plenty of choice and was always served with a warm greeting. Highly recommend for anyone looking to stay in RHB!

On our arrival,  we were greeted by both Nigel and Claire who were warm
 and welcoming.  The house is well appointed and clean throughout.  The rooms are spacious and the beds are lovely and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent and of high quality. Claire is a first-class friendly and helpful host, A  very highly rated B and B. I highly recommend a stay at this excellent accommodation.
