Spotlessly clean, lovely modern rooms, fabulous hosts, excellent breakfast & great location. What more could you ask for..... 5*

Nice little B&B with great hosts.  Stayed for two nights.  Room has a fridge which is big enough for quite a few tins/bottles so that was good to have.  Decent shower.  Brekko was a great fry up.  My gf couldn't get up in time for it as it ends at 9am, however the guys gladly provided me with some food for her which we put in a tupperware box for later.  Great location as the centre of RH Bay is quite close.  There's also a bus stop close by where you can get to Whitby for only £2. Would highly recommend a stay here.

Loved it. Would consider staying again.Nice touches in room, small fridge with complementary milk, soft drinks and water, as well as the usual teas and coffee. Nice bathroom. Location at the top near the post office. And free parking was a good bonus in an area where parking spaces are few.

Place was nice and quiet and room was pretty big and comfortable and close to Robin Hood Bay. It also comes with a lovely and satisfying home cooked breakfast

The recently renovated room was lovely. We stayed in the Bay Room. We liked the personal code access to our room, decor, mini fridge, great shower too.Breakfast is excellent served by a friendly waitress. We can recommend having dinner in the small restaurant too. Great value, good portions and very delicious. Compliments to the chef

This is a really nice guest house, the fact that you get to choose your own key code for your room and the entrance door is a very practical idea. The proprietors are lovely friendly people ,all the staff are polite and helpful.The breakfasts are first class and food is fresh and tasty and  that's served in a seperate building which is also Thier restraint which is spacious and has the feel of an American dinner due to the seating. The guest house is situated in a great location only 10 mins walk down to beach or bottom of Robin hood's bay . Public transport is a few minutes away to either Scarborough or Whitby. I would recommend this guest house and would gladly stay there again. Carole Wilson 31/10/2022

We really enjoyed our stay at North Ings. The accommodation was really lovely, clean and plenty of room. It was a really nice touch to have a few little treats in the mini fridge for us and made us feel very welcome.The breakfast was lovely and the lady who looked after us was very helpful and friendly.We also ate in the restaurant in the evening and that was an unexpected treat, great food and wine, with a very relaxed atmosphere. We would highly recommend a stay at North Ings.

Great stay

Stylish decor. Rooms very clean and smartly presented. Great shower and super comfortable bed. Complimentary range of teas, coffee, fresh milk and soft drinks in room, plus very quiet fridge!Breakfast is served in a characterful converted garage at the rear, cooked fresh to order. Altogether this is a great place to stay.

An excellent B&B that has recently been redecorated and modernised to a very high standard. The hosts are most welcoming, helpful and cater for every need; their full-English breakfast was first-class. The fridge in the room was fully stocked and included fresh milk for use with their ample supply of hot drinks, fizzy drinks, bottled water and snacks; everything you might need for the evening and even whilst out walking the next day. The beds are very comfortable, and the room/facilities were immaculately clean and tidy. Their carpark is of ample size to accommodate their guests needs and I was particularly impressed that they even have an EV charging point, but you'll obviously need the owner's permission to use it. In short, it's an excellent base to enjoy the local area and we would thoroughly recommend staying there.

Just spent 3 nights at North Ings, really cannot fault the place or the hosts.Lots of little extras, spotlessly clean, room serviced daily, a good selection for breakfast, the quality of the hot breakfast was excellent, we also had a cream tea during our stay, the scones had been freshly made that day, they were delicious. I highly recommend North Ings it might be a little dearer than those around but it is well worth paying the few extra pounds, guys thanks for making us feel welcome

What a find (thanks to tripadvisor)! Small B and B with just 2 en-suite rooms, both with sea views. Our room was gorgeous and we loved all the little touches such as fresh milk in our fridge every day and homemade flapjacks on arrival. The room was spacious with a sitting area and a huge and very comfortable bed. The location of the B and B means that it was incredibly quiet and peaceful. Breakfast was excellent. Jo was extremely welcoming and friendly and gave us several great suggestions for local walks. We loved that we could walk from here to Robin Hood's Bay and see the seals at Ravenscar without needing to drive anywhere - we needed cake from the tearooms on our return which was also delicious. Would not hesitate to recommend this place and we very much hope to return one day!

Gorgeous room and very friendly owners

Wonderful B&B - after a busy week at work it was a real treat to stay here for two nights. My room was lovely with wonderful views of the coast. The room and bathroom were spotless, there was fresh milk for my tea and some homemade flapjack. It was incredibly quiet so no problems sleeping. Breakfast was massive and set me up for a days walking. Jo was a mine of information, loaning me a map after I discovered I'd left mine at home. 
A relaxing weekend break which I'm hoping to repeat. 
PS I also recommend the tea room, the lemon and apple tart was delicious.

Relaxing stay

It's the best B and B we've ever stayed in.  We stayed for 2 nights with a couple of friends. Absolutely lovely rooms. There's only 2 but both large and lovely ensuite bathrooms. Both rooms have sea views. Jo and Pete were very friendly and made us really welcome. The food in the Tearoom was very tasty and a lot of it homemade. Can't wait to go back.
