My husband and I were greeted by Andrea who provided fresh coffee and biscuits on arrival. 
Beautiful room, clean, calm, cool. A comfortable bed and a wonderful view! 
Breakfast was delicious, the food was excellent quality and plentiful.

Lovely place to just 'be' would've like to have stayed longer.

My son and I stayed at this lovely farmhouse on our charity cycle ride from Sussex to Land's End. The owner made us feel so welcome and the accommodation was extremely comfortable and breakfast quality was outstanding. She was even kind enough to drive us to the local pub that evening. Highly recommend to anyone passing through this part of Devon.

Anthea is a very welcoming host along with her cats!!!  Room warm, comfortable, peaceful - home from home.  Breakfast plentiful with enjoyment of home made bread and garden grown fruit - a nice touch of garden sweet peas fragrancing the room. A very relaxing happy stay - definitely keep the details for return visit.

We stayed one night on our way to Cornwall. Anthea made us very welcome and our room was spacious, clean and comfortable .  We had a large ensuite  bathroom - corner bath and shower unit. 

Anthea cooked us a delicious full English breakfast with homemade bread . There was a bowl of fresh raspberries from the garden which were delicious. We chose this farmhouse as it was dog friendly as was the pub in nearby Whimple less than 10 minutes drive away where we had supper. 

We look forward to returning  again on our next visit to the West Country . 

Perfect setting, so peaceful, with far-reaching gentle views, and spacious, thoughtfully furnished very clean rooms.  Plus the kindness of the welcome (not just our host, but the horse and the three farm cats too) and the simply fantastic breakfasts Anthea cooked us that made our stay so memorable, all the ingredients fresh, local and so tasty. Top  quality fine tea and coffee too, even in the room. Spent two nights here while visiting the University (of Exeter), and would heartily recommend this to anyone as long as you have a car and don't mind the 20 minutes' extra drive to be in the countryside.
