We had a lovely time here. The staff are all really friendly. I brought my little dog along as its dog friendly & they gave him some treats too.Had a great nights sleep, really comfortable & quite.The breakfast was great all you xan wat for £10 well worth it.Also there is a takeaway van in the car park which sells Kebabs etc so perfect for a Chicken Shish 🐔 👌

Lovely, friendly staff and a clean, quiet room.

I was only there 2 noghts but was very happy with the accommodation and facilities.

Comfortable clean friendly good value for money

We liked where the property was situated. The staff were friendly & efficient & the breakfast & pub meals were lovely.  The bedroom was spacious & clean. The bathroom was small but adequate but the sink was blocked. Someone did try to unblock it but that resulted in a leak. It didn't make our stay any less enjoyable though.

Lovely location and homely accommodation.

Really enjoyed our stay.  We were made very welcome and will book again for next year

Lovely room with a comfortable bed.Free wifi.Toiletries smelled great too.

It was nice room only problem was the tv was very small.  Staff and food was very nice i will be back again

Great Place to stay not far from anywhere.

Large comfortable rooms separate from the pub itself, so nice and quiet. Separate entrance from car park useful.Well stocked with tea and coffee and good sized TV. Staff helpful and friendly.Very reasonable prices and only 15 minute walk to town centre. Only issue with our room was sick was cracked and leaked if filled.

Comfortable rooms at good price

We were heading to the Bath area and did not care where we stayed and this popped up on hotels.com and was reasonable. Arrived early and asked if it would be a problem checking in after 6 as we were going to head to town and were advised no problem. Arrives back around 6.30p checked in at the bar ans was showed to room by very friendly bar staff. Bar was quiet so we dropped our bags and were back in the bar for a few local ciders. Nice cozy front pub area although there was a couple guys seeing who could drink the most and be the most obnoxious out of the half dozen or so. Large group of teenage footballers came in, making me feel old and all had a beer and left. We pretty much left the first night as they closed. Spent the day in Bristol and came back the next night to a Euro 24 game and a much busy pub and a lot more atmosphere. Another fun evening, back to room at closing.
On to the rooms, we had a room for 3 which was a good size with a double bed and a single, very comfortable and clean, tea and coffee in room. I would say the bathrooms are extremely small and if these rooms are updated, please add space to the shower. Some updates are needed as the shower door was not closing all the way and the rod that held the shower head was broken, there was also no place for you to put stuff in the shower,  and bending down was a challenge. I would also add a proper hotel soap dispenser tamper proof unit if you are using bottles as who knows what could be put in there, or supply the little throw away soaps. We did also find some socks in a draw so that may need an extra clean, but not one to be (omg terrible place) we enjoyed our stay.

For visitors, I did see people complain about pub hours, this was not an issue on our days but check before you book as some days do have short pub hours and are not the typical till 11pm 7 days a week. Also I misread the hotel part and although I knew you had to pay for breakfast I did not see it was only weekends so again check the schedule for food..

Enjoyable 2 Night Pub Stay 

Second time staying here, really nice rooms. Clean and tidy. Comfortable beds. Bar is clean and nice throughout. Just a shame that they don't offer breakfast, and limited dinner menu. They now have a food van in the car park. Reasonable prices.

The property was ok for my 2days limited service as was Christmas. Some items in shower room were in need of upgrade shower head and hose leaked and cold. Tap in sink had to be held to turn off as was loose

Place requires a bit of external housekeeping and a bit of TLC in the rooms .. particularly heating but it was comfortable and convenient..
