Bronwye Guest House 

We stayed at Bronwye B & B last night, Monday 29th December. It is impossible to fault our visit and feel so lucky to have discovered this wonderful place. We were very warmly greeted by Siân who immediately made us feel ‘at home’. Our room was gorgeously warm and cosy. The view over the Groe Park and rugby pitch was brilliant and even the famous Builth bridge over the River Wye was visible. The bed was SO comfortable and both my husband and I slept soundly all night. Everywhere was extremely clean, with fascinating little knick knacks to be seen everywhere. We even had a cute little wooden doorstop with a mouse on it in our room. We were offered fresh milk for our tea in the room. There was a huge variety of teas and coffee available. Our breakfast was absolutely delicious. The fresh fruit and home made yogurt was luscious. We really enjoyed the full Welsh breakfast, particularly the orange yolked locally produced free range eggs and scrumptious generous portions of thick bacon/ gammon. We certainly could not have chosen a better spot to stay in Builth. Thank you so very much to Siân and Eifion, the expert chef and Siân’s husband, for a really memorable stay. We’ll certainly be back.
