we stayed here for a Shabbos on a gataway without the kids and it was a wonderful Shabbos.
the food was excellent 
the rooms were clean and tidy
the staff were very helpful and accomodating 
the atmosphere was beautiful 
the decor is classy
the hotel in general was very comfy

My wife and I spent a long weekend at the Water Garden and had the most delightful, relaxing time.  The management is friendly and efficient, and all the staff are happy to do whatever they can to help.  Food on Shabbos is excellent, with enough variety to satisfy different tastes.  This is not a five-star hotel: the rooms are basic, and the amenities are limited.  So if you want swimming pools, games rooms, a full-time restaurant and bar, and so on, go elsewhere.  But it you want an immaculately clean, well-run base for a relaxing walking or touring holiday in the Bournemouth area, you will be delighted.  There is a shop for groceries and deli-stuff which we didn't actually use.  On one night we wanted a meal and the hotel doesn't serve dinner: but it runs a hot kosher take-away service for the area, and you can buy a takeaway and take it away to the hotel lounge if you're staying there!!  Davening on site for erev shabbos and shabbos minchah; and two shuls are ten minutes walk away.  A lovely break and we will look forward to returning; this is a great community service and we wish it continued success.

What an amazing cute cozy strictly galt Kosher Hotel just 5 minutes walk from the beach. Nice restaurant and Deli with good prices. 
The perfect spot for a kosher family vacation, or (as in my case) short business stay. Clean, friendly, free WiFi plus a kosher shop. Nothing to complain about (and I am german).

We enjoyed the variety of fresh delicious menus and staff who went out of their way to please the guests. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The hosts were very forthcoming.We enjoyed it very much and would recommend it any time.

Having never been to Bournemouth before I was unsure what to expect. My friends and I (in our 30s) wanted somewhere kosher to stay in as a base so that we could explore Bournemouth as well as relax and rest.

When we arrived at the Water Garden Hotel we received a warm welcome from everyone and felt able to be ourselves throughout the trip. All the staff were friendly, kind, helpful and supportive and we had a lovely time in a ‘home-away-from-home’. 

I sometimes feel that the impact of the amazing effort Chabad families put into their centres and homes, whilst helping to ensure all Jews feel welcome and valued, is frequently underestimated. The fact that the hotel also has a deli and a takeaway service I’m sure is a busy and time-consuming job but all staff deliver their roles with a smile and we are so grateful for all they did for us. 

We hope to return very soon! :)

My wife and I wished to spend shabbat and a few weekdays at a kosher hotel and booked in at the Water Garden Hotel in Bournemouth. From the minute we arrived on Friday afternoon until we left the following Tuesday we were enthralled by the friendly atmosphere of the hotel and of the hotel staff and their will to make our stay as pleasant as possible. We were accommodated in a small basic double room with a comfortable double bed, ample hanging and drawer space for our clothing, a small clean bathroom a small TV set and free wifi. Delicious  meals were served in the hotel dining room over shabbat and on the weekdays we had a large and satisfying breakfast that kept us going for full days of touring. Prayer services were held either in the hotel or a nearby synagogue and meals were synchronized with times of the services. The management were more than willing to help with anything we needed and suggested tourist attractions that we enjoyed immensely. We were able to take advantage of the small deli located in the hotel to buy drinks and snacks.We were able to relax in the lounge, patio or garden enjoy the intimate atmosphere that pervades the hotel. Well recommended.

To further enhance your highly commendable reviews I would suggest you have bowls of fruit in the lounge area for guests to help themselves.

Heating the hotel when it is cold appears to be an issue until it has to be brought to the Managers attention. 

No matter the time of year when it turns too cold the customers welfare ought to be prominent.

Weekend home away from home

I tried to book a 5 night shavous stay at £795 including a supplement for a double room. 

The receptionist told me not to come. 

They obviously don't need £800 nor do they seem bothered about running this concern. 

Either that, or the Receptionist has failed miserably in welcoming residents, even if they are long-standing return residents.
