We had a really great weekend break at this hotel. Hotel is a different layout with different buildings and lodges in a very tranquil setting. Our room was roomy and immaculately clean with a large comfy bed. En-suite bathroom had bath and separate walk in shower. We ate in the Stove restaurant on both nights and the food was excellent. Our waitress, Beth, looked after us with outstanding service and never without a smile. She is a real credit to the Langdale hotel. The head waiter on Saturday evening was also very pleasant. Buffet Breakfast had plenty of choice. The spa area had a great pool. Everywhere is immaculate and so relaxing. If you are looking to unwind this is the place for you. The hotel is in a great area for walking and sightseeing. Short walk to other pubs in the area. We will definitely return to the Langdale. The only negative was one member of staff who slurped away at his drink behind the bar. I do not wish to name and shame him in this review but if the Langdale management wish to contact me I will give further information.
