The Old Mill Hotel Alsager

Stayed here for a walking trip in the area. The bar and restaurant are well decorated, with a welcoming real log fire in the lounge area. Had dinner in the restaurant, which was excellent. Not all the dishes on the menu were available. However, the choice was still good; the dinner was excellent standard, tasty and well prepared. The staff were really attentive and the service was faultless. Nothing was too much trouble. The bed was super comfortable, the shower hot and powerful. The room was cosy, a little more space would be welcome, but this is a quaint historic building. For a couple of nights stay, was fine. We could not take advantage in February, as it was raining, but in summer, the outside area will be restful and quiet. Will return here.
