Conrad Dubai

Our stay at the Conrad was perfect. Everything about the Conrad is of the highest standard; above all, the dedication of the staff to delight their guests is unparalleled. Every experience, from start to finish, was stellar. We were warmly welcomed by Felix at the front entrance upon arrival, and escorted to our rooms and introduced to the room amenities by Roel. We had opted for the half board package, and it was 100% worthwhile. The breakfast was incredible: tantalizing health boosters and masala chai prepared early in the morning by Ahmed R., fresh smoothies and glass jars of assorted yogurt treats, an omelet station and a paratha station, a range of different types of food (including sushi!), an assortment of breads and spreads…you get the picture. Sarvesh, who usually looked after our table, was super attentive. Fresh carrot juice would miraculously appear at our tables as we went to check out the various tables laid out for breakfast. Dinner was as special as breakfast. We chose to eat at the Ballaro (same place at breakfast), but there were other restaurants also available. The soups and appetizers were enough for one of us for dinner; but our package also included the option for ordering a la carte main items – the steak and salmon were both outstanding. The sorbet options and the chocolate dessert were heavenly. Vickita, our server, was gracious and anticipatory, making sure we had a delightful dinner every time. The Conrad is a grand and regal hotel. Stepping into the lobby, you feel like it could be the setting for an Agatha Christie book: it’s lively, with lots of people coming and going or simply enjoying meeting each other. Staff are everywhere, ready to help, and there is a lovely coffee shop and a tantalizing gift store. The rooms, by contrast, are pin drop quiet. The spacious rooms come with a large ensuite, equipped with a huge tub, a shower, double sinks, and plenty of counter space. In keeping with the style of the hotel, there is a lovely bathroom amenity box with all the essentials, in case you forget to bring something. When were (sadly) ready to leave, the front desk was happy to accommodate our request to store our bags until late in the evening. Aly helped us with our many bags and photography equipment, ensuring everything was carefully stored. When we left, Aly said he hoped to see us back in the future – we told him we would be counting the days to our next visit!
