The reception was cold by a certain gentleman. The quality of the hotel is passing. The location of the hotel is in an industrial area. I was part of a group of people, we came with a tourist agency. The quality of the dishes was not bad. This hotel will not be my personal choice.

Passable

Low season is kinda creepy as almost like no one around the hotel.  But still everything is perfect,  10mins walk from the coach station and close to supermarket.   Minibus or just ask the hotel to call taxi for you to the old town,  suitable for a 2 days 1 night trip by taking coach like us.Staff are super friendly,  little balcony for a fresh air.  Overall i like it and will consider to come back!

I could call this Awful hotel rather Aygur.
A/C not working well.
Room smelling wet and cigarette.
Receptionist was careless to visitor.
Break fast was awful. all finished at 9:30 tables not clean. 
Location awful. in Industrial area and far from city sites.

Dont Ruin Safranbolu experience with this hotel.

This was my second stay at the Aygur Hotel. This time, the hotel was busy so I was given an interior room rather than a view of front of the hotel. While there was mountain view the room was  pleasant with a huge comfortable bed, ample storage and an elegant decor. Lots of plugs for your all your devices. The best reason to stay here is the location is -- the finest in Safranbolu -- great for business trips, close enough to the central locations. Service at the hotel is very pleasant -- even with the very high occupancy. The breakfast full of delicious local flavours. Owners Nazan & Ahmet were best host ever. Highly recommended. Thank you. Will be back soon...

Although the staff were pleasant enough, the hotel is not at all geared towards western guests. There is no bar, no alcohol and not even any coffee - just a couple of sachets of instant available at breakfast. 

Location, as been remarked, is interesting!

Poor

We stayed at Aygür hotel for 2 nights and enjoyed our stay overall. The pros of this hotel: The room size was average, not too small or too big, it was enough for two people. The furniture and bathroom were all new and clean. We were here with a tour so our package had breakfast and dinner. The dinner was okay. 
The cons of this hotel: no sound insulation whatsoever. We could hear everything and could not sleep till 2 am due to loud noises (kid crying, people talking,laughing) next to our room. The breakfast was also mediocre, it was open buffet with low quality food. The location of the hotel is remote but our tour guides said there are minibuses (10 min walk) that take you to safranbolu old town center.

And everything else was pleased...the hotel is new (a few years old), very clean, the room is large and comfortable, the restaurant was also pleased, for breakfast I saw plenty of dishes... the staff is very welcoming....with pleasure I will return again....

I was afraid of the location of the hotel... but when I went inside, I immediately forgot about the location of the hotel...

Hotel is pretty new and clean, the rooms and comfort level is nice.  Though, the rooms and bathrooms are a little on the smaller side.  

The location is probably the worst place in town, hotel is situated right next to some auto/mechanic shops.  It is not within walking distance to the attractions of Safranbolu. Although, it is close to Justice Hall, if you are there for business.  

Buffet breakfast is included and very good.  

The reception folks were kind of lost in terms of giving advice/directions about the city attractions.  Also, at the end, they were confused about whether to charge us or not, although our room was fully paid to a third party booking website.

Clean and new hotel in a so-so location

We booked our room for 1st of May via Expedia on 23rd of April. And got our confirmation. 

When we got to the Hotel, lady at the reception couldn't find our booking. We showed our itinerary but she said they did not get any email ot fax from Expedia. She insisted  that they told Expedia that they are full but Expedia continued to sell rooms anyways. When we said it's unheard of they offered a room to us. They said room will be ready by 14:00. We went to the Hotel again after 15:00 but room was still not ready. Waited another 30 minutes to get in the room. The room they gave us is the room they use for staff.
