Nuh and all his staff were wonderful and accommodating. It was a pleasure spending time with all of them in such a warm, wonderful, and welcoming city. Made for the perfect trip.

Nu and the staff were so helpful from the moment we checked in explaining all of the areas we should visit in Mardin. The breakfasts were yummy and each of the staff were very service oriented. The room was clean and well maintained. Perfect hotel to walk the main area of Mardin. Enjoyed watching the sunset in the evenings overlooking Mardin. Mardin is a magical place and we hope to visit again.

Room: airy with plenty of sun light, clean and nicely pressed sheets. Mini fridge stocked with water for guests.Shower: hot water pressure is great. Breakfast: pictures speak themselves.I was sad to leave the hotel be because  there is much more to see and the hotel hospitality is the best I have ever received , far more than the five star hotels I stayed at..Mr. Nul is a perfect host. He treated his guests as his friends. He arranged the taxi for me right at the hotel door.This is definitely  the place for 4 to 5 nights.

It is the hotel owner.  Mr. Nul is going above and beyond. When I contacted the hotel about visiting Dara, he immediately reached out to me with WhatsApp. He arranged the taxi driver who has worked with the hotel to pick me up at the bus station. Mr. Nul personally guided me to the main shopping street and  made sure I had a good trip to Dara with the private tour to Dara and Midiyat the next day. What made this hotel unique is that the owner would  contact me to ensure I had a good visit and check on my well being. Additionally, I was having breakfast with him every morning. As a world traveler and one who has been to Turkey 3 times, I am very impressed to see that the hotel owner truly passionate about his job and wanting to make sure his guests having a good time. The breakfast is lovely with fresh ingredients, fantastic choice of bread, eggs and the nice selection of condiments. Room prices are reasonable and the location is great.

Folks at Carra Hotel are extremely helpful and honest about the room.options. it is located at the heart of the old Mardin. The breakfast terrace has the exquisite view of the Mesopotamia and my room had a small portion of the same view.The breakfast is a splendid spread of local tastes. It needs to be understood that one is staying at an ancient dwelling, not a regular square hotel. Yet, the sheets are clean, hot water is available and there is a refrigerator in the room. The amenities are basic, the manager is very helpful and the staff are adorable. You have to be ready for a few steps as the ancient city is built on a slope and that is one of the reasons why Mardin is magnificent. The staff is always there to help with the luggage up and down.

The hotel is historic, rustic and beautiful. Its large and comfortable rooms. Breakfast is fresh, hot and very tasty. Before arriving, the owner of the hotel was in contact the entire time so that we arrived without any problem. The staff received us with great attention. The hotel is central and accessible to shops, restaurants and historical sites. I was very satisfied and I will undoubtedly return to the same Hotel again!

Magical place in a magical city. The whole surrounding makes you go back in time. Friendly staff and delicious breakfast. Would definitely recommend.

It was a wonderful stay in magnificent Mardin and in a well decorated old stone house called “konak” in Turkish. The room was very comfy and the staff were bery kind and helpful. The breakfast was also so authentic and delicious. If you are family of 4 or 5 people, I really recommend you to stay here. It is walking distamcr to the heart of Mardin.

This is an old nostalgic place to stay. You feel you are leaving in early years of that part of world. We certainly enjoyed staying in this property. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was excellent, which was very close to many historical places, shopping and dinning. Only minor issue was the hotel needs minor touches and pay more attention in cleanness. And also, parking was challenging due to the narrow streets, but there is not much can be done, because the old city was constructed like that thousand years ago. We will certainly consider staying there again,

Great stay in the heart of Mardin

I love staying Carra Konagi! Clean and nicely designed room, generous breakfast, and good location. The breakfast in the terrace has beautiful view of Mardin. It was in the center of Mardin, everything was walking distance. The best part is the people in Carra. Nuh the owner was so attentive and helpful to give lots of local tips and recommendation. He will ensure that your stay is comfortable and enjoyable. He went beyond to provide the best service to the guest, he even walked with me to show me the bus stop and paid for it. It was a small fee but I really appreciate the kind gesture. Highly recommended hotel for memorable stay in Mardin. Thank you Carra!

Beautiful place with amazing people

the owner and his staff were superb in attending to any query concerning anything a visitor might have... generous with tea, coffee, and water to accommodate visitors with excellent hospitality... actually, you felt like being at home more than being a hotel guest... and the uniqueness of the interior of the hotel and rooms is worth considering... all in all a wonderful place to stay (but it must be mentioned that the restaurant across from the hotel... an excellent one at that... plays live music until midnight... I am not sure if this is on weekends only or every day... we stayed Friday and Saturday...    if you like good food and music then this is a plus)... and again... the owner and the staff go out of their way to make your stay pleasant... happy holidays in Mardin
