Koza Cave Hotel 

We have just returned from five delightful nights in the deluxe suite at Koza and cannot recommend it highly enough. The suite is spacious (like a beautiful little four-room apartment), the bed is incredibly comfortable, there's plenty of hot water, and both the heating and air conditioning work superbly. I used the jacuzzi tub but my husband used the shower with no problems. The housekeeping is fantastic and everything is immaculate at all times. There is lots of natural light and the suite smelled very fresh, with absolutely no dampness or musty odor. We rented a car and drove from the airport. Parking in the narrow street by the hotel was a bit of a challenge, but only a minor issue and we always found a space close by. The hotel is surrounded by excellent restaurants (we especially liked Happena, Topdeck and Aiza) so we could walk easily to dinner. We loved the ample Turkish breakfasts, which had different offerings every day, including many delicious vegan and vegetarian options. The terraces have perfect views of Uchisar Castle and are absolutely magical for balloon viewing. We booked our balloon flight (a once-in-a-lifeime experience) through Koza and everything was seamless. As others have said, the staff are truly lovely - always available, always smiling and helpful. We dealt mainly with kind and gentle Mert, who was on the night shift, as we were out sightseeing during the day. We will always be grateful to him. To summarize, if you're looking for quiet luxury and comfort in a beautifully-furnished, superbly managed hotel, Koza is your place. If we come back to Cappadocia, we will return to Koza in a hearbeat.
