I never got the chance to review previously, But talking about Turkey with a colleague at work today triggered me into remembering to review Hotel Jarra. A perfect place to stay, very quiet, the staff where fantastic and treat my good wife and I like royalty the whole week we stayed. A perfect week away. John, Middlesbrough

The staff were very nice, helpful and friendly.  However , The rooms are in need of renovation.  For light sleepers ,  you can hear the neighbours.  For us it was okay. Car park infront of the hotel..They have a small swimming pool..

Fab - Treat like royalty

We stayed at the jarra hotel in October and the management we're really friendly ,the hotel was really quiet because of the time of year,the cleaners we're very good doing the bedding and towels everyday, the only thing wrong was the balcony roofs need a good cleaning also there was no childrens area around the pool.great views of gumbet from the balcony.

Good for a quick stay.

It was a total scam in terms of what was shown in the pictures. It is nothing like what was advertised. Absolute filth in every possible way. Very very very dirty place, starting from reception and corridors, pool area (borken and rotten furniture with heaps of dust and filth) dirty beds, couch (so called), staff was so stinky and dirty clothes, not at all welcoming. Offered water at reception in a very dirty GLASS. And then staff bathed into our room while we were resting in the room. We couldn’t stay for more than couple of hours and left the property. They didn’t even give the money back. And no Wifi in rooms. Very shady place. Could hear bad people coming in and talking about availability of drugs and that was out sign to leave, as we didn’t even unpack our bags - we LEFT !!

Absolute FILTH !

After our first reservation in Bodrum cancelling after one of their guests had covid, we struggled to find a back-up hotel. This was the only option and cost $95/night but was literally the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. The air conditioning does not work, the staff are not helpful or friendly. The rooms are almost comical in how dirty, run down, and falling apart they are. The photos on this website are very edited and misleading, the door locks barely function, they have literal holes in them, and the bathroom hadn't been cleaned in a very long time. We had to make several requests for toilet paper and the furniture was falling apart. The beds in all of our rooms were broken, sheets stained, and it was safer to leave our valuables with us at all times.

Worst Hotel I've Ever Stayed in

The worst accommodation I've ever seen in my life. That place is falling apart literally. Beds are terrible and whoever has back problems will never be able to sleep at all. Everything is very very very dirty. But the most horribly of all is the so called management. They are rude and unpleasant. They speak English only when they need something. In other situations they will just shrug and say: no English, no English. In this hotel, you cannot change your money, and in more than a few situations, you cannot buy water in reception.

Disaster

The hotel was not renovated, and if we were told at Argus tours that it was. Inventory in decaying condition, mattresses collapsed, wires coming out of them, staff unkind, food desperate in addition to eating the same for ten days. We got trace meats, rice and bread for dinner in baby portions. I would never go to this hotel again or recommend it to anyone.
