Great value hotel, and close enough to the andolusian civilisations museum. Quiet in the streets at night. Not many tourists about.

For this price its everything what you need.

Big room, nice bed, seems recently renovated. The breakfast in the morning was also nice. I enjoyed my stay here.

If you travel with a motorcycle, this is the place to be: private GARAGE (not just a  spot), a simple, yet nice room...on a budget!

A lovely, clean and comfortable room; great self serve breakfast, good wifi, great location and nice private bathroom for an excellent price. The manager and reception guy were fabulous, friendly, obliging and welcoming and I very much enjoyed my stay.. highly recommend!

This is a lovely mid century hotel, just past its glory days although very clean and comfortable. Only thing was the wifi didn’t work on the second floor.

Easy check in and friendly staff. Closer to shops, eateries and public transport.Not matching to the pictures as the building is bit older now. But the hotel served our purpose. Stayed 3 nights, got change of towels, daily drinking water etc. Staff is friendly and helpful. We'd stay again.

The staff what really kind and supportive

Staff was so welcoming! Room was big and wifi worked well. The area is close enough to walk to museums or the old çarşı etc. Thank you for maintaining the Turkish hospitality, gentlemen 🙏

Rest HotelIt was cheap, clean and everything worked. There was hot water in the shower and the bedsheets were fresh. The upper floor windows had a distant view of the Mausoleum. It's well located to walk to lots of places. There's not much English spoken by the staff however we got by and everyone was friendly. The place is showing some wear in preserving its retro vibe - it's like stepping into 1984. The downsides are: it's a smoking hotel and that kinda lingers and moves from room to room; breakfast was basic but adequate (several types of egg, sausage, cheese, olives, jam and butter and good fresh bread) but no coffee! Overall it's a good place to crash on a budget, no complaints.

An authentic step back in time

I had a good stay here. Good value for the price. Room was comfortable and clean but dated. However, the bathroom was very nice. I was able to leave a bag before and after checkout. The breakfast was very good. Very good variety. Pretty quiet. The hotel is about a 20 minute walk from the train station. Lively market a few minutes away where you can buy all kinds of for really cheap food and groceries.

Good place stay to catch the Doku Express

For the price, the hotel is good. Breakfast is decent. Room size is good. However, contrary to what it says on Expedia, most of the onsite staff do not speak English so we did struggle a bit with the language barrier. The area is industrial so food options are limited and most things close quite early.

Comfortable hotel, conveniently located near the Museum of Anatolian Occupations, the train station and a Metro stop. Nice breakfast, spacious room, on a quiet side street so you get no traffic noise. Staff speak no English at all. The hotel's internet service provider completely blocks access to certain domains (eg. co.za) and staff could not help. This was extremely irritating

Comfortable, quiet, spacious

Rest Hotel is well located, within walking distance of the Metro, the train station, the Citadel and the Museum of Anatolian Occupations. Comfy, spacious room, very nice breakfast. A quiet side street.But certain legitimate web domains are blocked by their internet service provider, and they had no interest in helping resolve this. I was unable to access some sites I needed to. No English spoken.

Quiet and comfy

A very affordable hotel in downtown area.  We were able to locate it on our GPS and made our way to the front door.  This hotel is quite welcoming with its chairs out front and pretty flowers.  It has an elevator, free parking right next door, good hi-speed internet, close to many restaurants with excellent buffet breakfast.  The staff, though not very fluent in English, were nonetheless very helpful when we arrived with our rental car wondering where we would park in such a busy area.

Nice find in Ankara!

The room was comfortable and I liked that I could regulate the heat level. The staff were friendly and helpful, however they did not speak English. The breakfast was good. The location was very nice for the touristic purpose. The cost was very reasonable. Overall, I am satisfied with my stay.

Breakfast was on par with other Turkish hotels. A wide array of cheeses, eggs, bread, butter, jams etc. available.
