Buyuk Liman Hotel

We were 100 feet (30 meters) from the black sea.  Great view and nice accommodations.

The price is very reasonable for a shoreline hotel but it comes at a "mild" cost.  the rooms were a little dusty and sand filled; the mirror in the bathroom was well aged and hard to see from; the floors were sandy.  The breakfast was nice, but nothing to write home about. . .

The towels were LARGE and Soft.  The bed was full sized but definitely not great for a bad back.

most all the staff was cheerful. . .and all smiled frequently.

Almost all rooms have a sea view and balcony and the hotel is across the road from the beach. Surprisingly the road is quiet with very little traffic. The hotel is nice, the room was comfortable and the bathroom is adequate. Good value. Amasra is a beautiful site with an old citadel. It is very quaint and a great place for a holiday. The best town I have seen on the Black Sea.

Reasonable Price for Beach-front hotel

Great spot 

This could be a great hotel but is let down by the staff and neglect. The location is great, right on Buyuk Liman beach and most of the rooms have balconies looking out to the sea. Our room was large and bright but there is a real feeling of neglect and lack of proper cleaning and maintenance and indifference. All little things but add up to a waste of potential and loss of comfort. Floors were dusty, bathrooms musty, lift dark and unsafe, breakfast guy looked shabby and bored, reception barely acknowledge anyone. You could probably sneak into a room and no one would notice for days. Room rate was great value but this place could be so much more. The town itself is really nice.

Could be a great hotel

We intended to stay 2 nights. The hotel was not bad at all, the room clean with great view, the breakfast was good as well. The reason to leave Amasra after one night was the very dirty sea shore, the mole and the beach. Empty plastic bottles and bags everywhere. 

Basic hotel in a good location

We spent 11 days travelling the black sea and this hotel was by far the most expensive and by far the worst.The whole place was dirty and in need of a complete overhaul.When we arrived the romm was not cleaned and we had to ask for it to be done.The hoel policy is to clean every two days.Breakfast was bland and the coffee was half tea,awful.Staff attitude was couldnt care less.Never again
