We stayed here last year but were unable to find space this year and booked another hotel close by. Our hotel is nice but for Christmas and new year the celebrations are not quite on par with Calimera which are just absolutely out of this world. We spoke to Camlimera and they let us join for new year - what an absolute experience it is, the pastry chefs are first class and the whole vibe of the party was so welcoming. Most of the staff remembered us from last year and welcomed us so warmly. Stepping into Calimera again after a year and we were reminded that is absolutely the cleanest and most welcoming hotel on all of Djerba. Keep it up and see you next year.

The best hotel I've ever been to. Very nice and friendly group of animators, especially Sousou ♥️. Very nice service in the hotel, clean, very nice, very good and varied food. A lot of attractions, a bar open 24 hours a day and close to the city center.

The best place on earth to rest, relax and have some summer fun. You are welcomed from the very entrance by helpful staff. The rooms are very comfortable and the kitchen serves all variety of dishes. The pool are is well prepared and equiped. Everyday you can find aultitude of difference activities provided by the wonderful entertainment team. Adults and children can always find something interesting to do. You can leave your little ones under the care of kids club and enjoy aerobics, stretching, Zumba, beach volleyball or beach football every day. It's the perfect place with perfect people working there to make your vacation experience in Djerba unforgettable. Only in Calimera Tati Beach.

The hotel was so nice and the staff were so kind. It was super clean and we loved the maid’s daily creations. The food was great! The horse stables across the road was an added bonus. We were a family of 4 and had a room with two bedrooms. We will come back!

Thank you for nice holiday, we enjoyed our stay here. Nice and clean room, polite and friendly staff, good food especially desserts. The animators were the best. We were never bored. Special thanks to Jassim, we really enjoyed the aquagym and step aerobic, it was great fun!

i had a great time in Calimera. Special thanks for animation team for the best time, best show and the best attractions of the day. We felt like family there! All of them are wonderful but our best was Adem - he is always smiling, so kind, helpful and funny. We hope to back to Calimera soon!

Paradise vacation in Calimera Yati Beach

I generally agree with possitive comments mentioned below related to well run hotel so that I am providing feedback from a family point of view. Good location (max. 40 min from the airport, easy drive), really clean, safe and quiet hotel, children friendly staff, balcons designed the way kids can not climb on. There is a wide range of not spicy food, mostly cooked, usual stuff (spagetti, rice, pancakes) always available, microwave, fruit/veggie. 24/7 bar with bottled water. There is also a supermarket (5 min walking) with fix prices where you can get kid´s stuff if needed incl. kids food and drugg store. Pools were not the cleanest at the end of our stay but so so during a week. Water slides good for smaller children also. In September no fight for sunchairs. Animators in action during all day and mini disco in the evening (20:30-21:00) next to the Relax pool. Kid´s playground close to the Relax Pool for evening activity (not covered against the sun). Camel/horse rides on the beach. Great gradual access to the ocean, almost no waves. Beaches aren´t the greatest and the cleanest but if you spend most of the time at pool, then OK. Otherwise hotel beach OK, unfortunatelly it is connected to a public part of the beach which is not kept clean (crossing from hotel beach to the ocean). Hotel surroundings is well maintained and kept clean. Hotel cats in the garden:-). We had a nice holiday here. Good value for your money.
Personal recommendation for families: thermosks for kids and yourself for keeping drinks cold, electric device due to mosquitos for a night (can be bought at place), classic tea spoon (no available there), tea for kids
What you need to count on - no ice cream! Liquid form of some ice cream available only at lunchtime buffet, no possibility to buy any.

Highly recommended hotel, clean and spacious. The food is good, everyone will find something for themselves. Professional service in the restaurant and bar. Animations at the highest level. The best animator Mourad who was sympathetic and very helpful. Beach and water so wonderful that you can stare at it for hours. I recommend !
