A very comfortable B&B with Self Contained Rooms, Fast Wifi & very clean.
Breakfast is very filling & tasty.
Location is excellent & facing the sea side.
Evangeline the owner is very helpful.

Homely, clean, friendly. Accommodation includes a big breakfast. Fruits, cereal, eggs done to your liking   bacon, sausages and toast. Its a generous Tongan serve.  The staff are lovely, warm people. I would come here again.

Utu'one went above and beyond to ensure I had a comfortable stay in Tonga - airport transportation, free high-speed wifi that worked well (unusual in the Pacific), laundry, and changing me to a room with an ensuite bathroom for no additional charge (since it was available). I have traveled to over 180 countries and can recommend this B&B without hesitation. Enjoy!

Spent three nights here in March 2017 and was very satisfied with the place (it was chosen for me).  Near the water, I had some memorable walks along the seaside and the distance from town was just far enough for some good exercise.  You can get a morning espresso here and the dinner menu is ample enough.  If I had any quibble, it's that the fish and chips featured yam (or sweet potato) rather than regular potatoes (but that's just a personal preference).  Fish was battered and fried just right.

The Utu'one B&B has two levels with rooms on both levels. Some rooms share a bath though most have included baths. A/C is included in most rooms as is free WiFi (though it is a bit weak in some areas and carrying the laptop or phone down to the lobby may be necessary for a good connection). Hot water is plentiful in the baths though not in the hand sinks. The included hot breakfast is to order and very good. An interesting aspect is the inclusion of solar electricity to power the building through roof-top solar photovoltaics. The staff are very pleasant and accommodating and the facilities modern, clean and tasteful. Though there is no restaurant now, a café addition is under construction and should be opening in October. It is about a 20 minute walk along the ocean front to the main part of town. Recommended.

I felt right at home at this beautiful bnb. Run by a lovely family who were ever so warm and helpful. Great location opposite a local market (selling fresh watermelon, mango etc) and great proximity to the water. I suggest hiring a bike and riding round to neighbouring beaches. The beaches are stunning and theres a great bar/restaurant up the road (the name escapes me, but ask at reception they will know the one).

Situated within walking distance of downtown, this B&B was a wonderful surprise after a long plane flight.  This is a family run B&B that went above and beyond all expectations.  The owner and staff took a genuine interest in our trip and time spent in the Capital; they helped arrange taxis and an island tour, and helped to locate travel services that we needed.  The building itself was very clean with light airy rooms, comfortable public spaces and a relaxing garden.  They made a full breakfast to order that was great. We highly recommend this property!
