Fantastic
168 reviewsI chose this hotel after reading reviews about Rawai, which suggested it was much quieter than Patong and other areas. I wasn't disappointed; the hotel was great, and the service was excellent. "Kanun, the duty manager," took care of us from the very beginning and made sure our stay was wonderful. When we decided the room we were assigned was far too close to the main pool, which was playing music, Kanun bent over backward to provide us with a suitable place to relax. The room was great, but a bit too noisy for us; we preferred quiet, and Kanun found us one. :) The hotel's attractions were amazing. Loy Krathong (even though the weather was terrible, they managed to arrange it), the night market next to the hotel at the end of the week, and many more. The breakfasts were delicious, as was the pizza in the main lobby. Cleanliness in the hotel 5/5, sometimes the cleaners came to the room late, but the service was daily. Hotel worth the price. We stayed for a week, but we loved it so much that we extended our stay for another. Passing Kanun in the lobby or hallway, always smiling and rushing to provide guests with whatever they needed, also became a fond memory :) I hope to return and repeat this stay, and meet Kanun there again. Oh, I just remembered something. I think my only complaint concerns the rooftop pool. I thought it was for adults only, and it would be nice if it were. There are plenty of other pools in the hotel where children could play and jump in. A pool where adults could relax without the screams of children jumping in and splashing around would be nice. We didn't report it; we didn't want it to be a problem on our part, but when the kids came, we left because there was no relaxation for us there. Other than that, everything was great. Kanun even asked if we got home from Thailand safely, which was nice, he's a great guy.
