Bua Sawan Resort

These are just some of the words I can use to describe staying at Buasawan. I've stayed here twice over the last 3years and I would definately recommend it. The rooms are spacious, clean and come with air-con. There is a separate restaurant which is on a big raft on the river and the food is delicious.. or even aroy mahk if you know your Thai! The best thing about this place has to be the wooden seating areas just at the river. After a busy day sightseeing, there was nothing more relaxing than sitting here as the subn goes down evjoying a few ice cold Singha beers, watching the river go by and chatting with friends and loved ones about the days events and what you're going to do the next day. One word of warning about the river though, once you get a few metres in from the side, the currect is very strong so not suitable for kids ...or adults for that matter but paddling and cooling your legs is fine. This resrt is only a few minutes drive from the famous Bridge over River Kwai, the death museum and a many trips can be organised to Tiger Temple, Erawan National Park and Sak Yoi waterfalls. The resort also benefits from free wifi. I couldn't fault the staff who were freindy, courteous and very helpful.
