329 reviewsMy fiance and I stayed at The Castle for 5 nights. The moment we arrived, front desk was warm and welcoming and showed us to our room with a bit of a tour of our room. Location: It was about a 15 min walk to old city, and on the way are a few cheap(er) eats and massage places on the way to old city. It is about a 20 min and 150 baht ride from the airport. Rooms: Basic bed, separate toilet room and shower room (which is a bit different from what we are used to but no big deal). Tile floors. There is a mini fridge and two bottles of water are restocked daily. AC is great, tv had a few english channels and I admit to watching the Syfy channel non-stop. The building and rooms are old, but well-kept and clean, so it has a rustic charm to it. Others: We didn't have too many other guests staying in the hotel at the same time, so although the pool is on the small side, we had plenty of room and privacy. The Castle is quaint, quiet, friendly, and private, and for the value, we would definitely visit again. Breakfast, beer, pop available on-site. Wifi is a bit spotty, but it's available. Computer also available, however I did not use it so cant comment on it.
