31 reviewsThus wasn't our first choice of hotel, but over a course of two weeks in Early December every other hotel we looked at had either raised their prices or had no availability so I booked Vivace. From the time we checked in to the morning we left we were amazed by the hospitality and friendliness shown by Ju and Zen. Our room was huge and very well equipped with a microwave and hot plate and a big balcony with a day bed overlooking the pool. We normally have a breakfast in our hotel, but the Vivace doesn't have a restaurant at the moment, which wasn't a a problem as there are plenty of restaurants and supermarkets within 100 yards- we found a lady in the the Big C supermarket car park selling amazing fried chicken for 30 Baht a pop- most mornings around 10.00. The rooms were exceptionally clean- vacuumed and polished every day by a lovely and friendly bunch of cleaners. The ladies organised a taxi back to the airport- 750 Baht from what I remember- easier than a Bolt or Grab and he turned up on time, which was a relief considering the heavy traffic. When we return to Kamala the Vivace is on the top of the list to stay- it's just a 3☆ but with a 5☆ attitude.
