I’ve been coming to Art Hotel Zanzibar for the past three years, and it truly feels like my home by the beach. This small boutique hotel is run by Jemilah, a wonderful local host who returned from Europe and pours her heart into making guests feel welcome. Breakfast is included and always fresh, and the hotel also serves lunch and dinner at very reasonable prices. The highlight for me is their bar in front of the hotel, which has the best view on this side of the beach. During the day, you can relax while watching windsurfers and traditional local boats glide across the water. At night, the atmosphere becomes magical—the moon reflects beautifully over the ocean, creating the perfect setting to unwind with a hookah after a day of activities. The rooms are cozy, the prices are excellent, and Jemilah’s warm personality makes every stay memorable. Art Hotel Zanzibar isn’t just accommodation—it’s an experience I look forward to every year. Highly recommended if you want an authentic, relaxed, and unforgettable stay in Zanzibar.
