Solberga Gård

OK, this is a bit of a longer story. We arrived in mid-August, looking for a place for the night. They would have been fully booked (for a reason), but one family got ill, and we were able to hop in. A magic place. It is a farm out of your dreams of a farm. Large gardens, fantastic people (the hosts AND the other guests!), long nights out with a glass of wine, the kids happily playing with their new pals. Most were German-speaking (also from Switzerland and Austria, not just Germany), but nobody cared. It was like one big happy family, and we stayed five days that flew by, even though we had planned one night when we knocked on the door! As for tips, check out their treehouse, you can actually stay there. Then when we left they had started to build a treehouse sauna, can you imagine! We'll not come back to Europe anytime soon, but I'd love to see it finished. And never mind the strange food picture on this TripAdvisor site - they do not have a restaurant, and I have no idea what this is about. Great place. Recommend it!
