Alfonso XIII Hotel, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Seville 

My partner (now wife!) and I recently arranged our wedding reception here and we have to say, from start-to-finish, the service (and our stay in general) was absolutely sublime. Ana Villalon, Concha Valiente and all the staff took care of our every need, and went out of their way to make our stay an exceptional one. It was truly A+++ service all weekend, as we were greeted by name at reception (and throughout the hotel!), all our belongings and wedding gifts were taken care of and delivered to our room; even the bride's bouquet (which had gone missing overnight) was found by a staff member and put on ice for safekeeping, then recovered the day after. In terms of the hotel itself, the location is ideal (we chose it as it's a short walk from the Cathedral) and is in a prime spot right in the heart of Seville, just at the top end of La Constitución, the main high street in zone 1 of Sevilla City Centre. That being said, the hotel remains quiet and with a relaxed atmosphere all day long (you can't even see the outdoor swimming pool as it's discreetly tucked away behind the hotel and well away from streetside), with no interruption from the outside world and little or no noise. You really feel you're basking in 5* luxury here. The rooms are all incredibly clean and with plenty of amenities. The breakfast is also excellent, so while the price for a stay is at the top-end of the market, you get what you pay for. The building itself is an architectural work of art (built in time for the 1929 South American expo) so you really feel like you're stepping into a time capsule from Sevilla's golden era. Thoroughly recommend this hotel, whether it's for a romantic getaway, corporate event or larger family gathering:- ours was a reception of 200 guests; and all came away completely in wonderment at the place!!
