The hotel is fully renovated and the location is excellent. I can also say that the prices were reasonable for the period we travelled. The only negative part was during check-in. We were informed that we had been upgraded to a room on the 5th floor with a Gran Vía view, but the room wasn’t ready and we were asked to return in two hours. When we came back, we were given a room on the 1st floor with a Gran Vía view instead. It was still an upgrade, but we were a bit disappointed because we had been expecting the 5th-floor room. Another issue was that the maid accidentally took my pyjamas. Nobody ever got back to me to let me know whether they found them or not. Anyway we had a great time and for this reason I am giving 5 stars. We will definitely stay again, and it’s worth paying a little extra for a room with a Gran Vía view.
