I stayed in this hotel for 2 nights, with my daughter, as a special post-GCSE treat for her. It was extremely hot on the day we arrived in Barcelona, and we arrived at the hotel 2 hours before our 'check-in' time, in the hope we could just dump our luggage and explore for a couple of hours. The hotel itself was a little out of town, and to be honest, it was great for coming back to after the hustle and bustle of the city. We were grateful for its out-of-town location (with approximately 6 Metro stops before you were back in the thick of it). We were greeted at reception by a couple of lovely ladies - Daniele was the name of one lady, and I'm gutted that I did not catch the other lady's name). We were told that our room was actually ready and that we could check in early, which we did! We were informed of some suggested places to visit while we were in Barcelona, and these were highlighted on a mini map for us. We were given a verbal tour of the hotel, explained how to use the Metro system, and generally made to feel special! Our room was superb - clean, spacious and air-conned, which we really needed. The bed was super comfy, with the best pillows! We were on the 8th floor, but it was so peaceful and we could not hear another soul, which was perfect for a good night's sleep. We had booked the breakfasts for both mornings in the hotel, which was great and highly recommended. Tasty, with a great range of hot food items, as well as continental - pastries, pancakes, cereals etc. These set us up for our days in the city. Overall, I thought this was a superb hotel, reasonably priced for our mini-break and in a great location. Would most definitely stay here again, for sure :-)
