42 reviewsI had not been to Richards Bay for a few years and was no longer familiar with the accommodation on offer so I chose the Duck Inn blind! The booking somehow was not recorded but when I arrived I was nonetheless met and given "The Cottage" which exceeded all my expectations and requirements. A large dining/living room cum kitchen and a spacious bedroom were more than I needed but the fridge and coffee facilities were very welcome. The beed was comfortable and the bathroom fulfilled all its functional requirements. Breakfasts were adequate for the very reasonable price for the 4 days I stayed and the central location of the Duck Inn made going out for dinner or fast food no problem at all. The only beef is with the internet which was very slow at times and made staying in touch a little difficult, but this may not be the Duck Inn's fault. All in all a place to be recommended
