This is our second stay at Parrington Manor in Somerset West.  Pippa looked after us so well and her breakfasts are delicious. If you want somewhere beautiful and really comfortable to stay look no further than Parrington Manor.  Would love to think we could return again next year.  Linda

What a delight to find Parrington Manor. The same name as our surname attracted us, but we are not related (well at least back to the mid 1800's). 
Pippa and Charles are friendly, helpful, and eager to share their knowledge of Cape Town and South Africa. Our room was spacious and well appointed, with a modern ensuite bathroom, large and comfortable bed, and plenty of cupboard space. Other facilities available to guests include a swimming pool, sun room, and plenty of outdoor furniture. A substantial breakfast is served.
Parrington Manor provides a secure holiday environment and restaurants or the V & A are easily accessible by Uber.
A wonderful six nights and eager to return.

We stayed for 3 weeks in this lovely guest house set in a beautiful garden with all the amenities provided, pool, sunbeds, sitting room, and 2 friendly, well behaved dogs to make it feel like home.    Pippa is the perfect hostess, charming, knowledgeable and exceptionally helpful.   Nothing is too much trouble from booking dinner reservations to providing towels for the gym (which is just across the road in the elegant small mall which provides shopping, restaurants etc.).  The area is perfect for exploring the Cape.   Stellenbosch and the wine route are minutes away as are the beaches at Strand and Gordons Bay.    Cape Town airport is less than half an hours drive and Cape Town itself a little longer - but beware the traffic and avoid peak times there.    Cannot recommend this Guest House and Pippa and Charles highly enough.

I had a wonderful time staying here. I was working in Somerset West and it was the perfect place to come home to afterwards. Pippa is so kind and welcoming and makes sure you have a very pleasant stay. There is a mall opposite and she can put you in touch with taxi drivers so it is easy to be independent and get around. Stellenbosch and the wine regions are very close by and are incredibly beautiful! Would highly recommend to people wanting to stay in the area.

Located at a very convenient point in Somerset West for shops and restaurants.  Our room was large, clean and well equipped.  Excellent friendly service. Also convenient for the N2 highway to George and Port Elizabeth.  Will definitely visit again in the future
