POD Camps Bay

We stayed in this boutique hotel from 23rd Dec-1st January 2026 with our 2 sons who are 24 and 28. It is set directly across from the expansive beach which you can see from the lovely terrace area. There is a small lap pool next to a sun lounging deck and well stocked bar area. We had a deluxe ground floor room with a plunge pool and a small private courtyard. The rooms were very clean and spacious but could do with a bit of tlc. It was well equipped and had a complimentary mini bar with wine and cold drinks. There was also tea and coffee making facilities. House keeping kept us well stocked with anything we needed. Breakfast was great with a good variety of hot and cold foods, with everything freshly made including the juices and granola. If they didn’t have what you wanted they made an effort to offer other options or supply it the next day. There is also a small gym with lighter weights a treadmill, bike and cross trainer, enough for a few days stay. Restaurants are a small walk away across from the beach with plenty of variety for all tastes. The great thing about this hotel was the service provided by the wonderful staff, nothing was too much trouble . We made several changes but they helped us each time with a smile and professionalism. We would definitely return as it was home from home and well placed for beach and restaurants. Obviously over Christmas it was a very busy area but that gave it a lovely atmosphere.
