The guesthouse is very stylishly furnished with many wood and stone elements. Numerous paintings of the surroundings and Slovak culture. Very friendly reception and service. The terrace behind the hotel invites you to stay. The breakfast is balanced and delicious. And of course TOP location with free parking.

Nice old boarding house, great location and beautiful little town

We have been in business/family trip in Banská Bystrica and we had reservation in this very nice hotel/pension.
It is located at 5 min walk from the old town square and the service and the personal are friendly and professional!

Super experience 

When arrived to hotel car park I was shown by car park attendant to park at other side of car park. When I moved the car and was collecting my belongings from back seat, he aggressively started to  give out to me. His problem was, that he had to tidy up the gravel again as my car did small wheel spin (hire car with strong engine, automatic). When I asked if he is employee of the hotel, he answered, that it is not my business who he works for. Two ladies behind reception were obviously amused by this story and laughed at my complaint. Do not expect continental type of hotel. I would categorize it as B&B.

Odd experience.

We stayed four nights in this hotel located two steps from the main square. The room was spacious and soundproofed well. There was no air conditioning but a fan. The parking lot on site. Good breakfast and good restaurant on site. A great welcome. We could have stayed much longer.

Like at home.

We stayed in the Hotel, room 101, and it was all round excellent. Our room was huge and beautifully decorated. I'm not big on  religious decor, but it did suit our room very well. Everything was clean, the room was quiet and we slept well. Wifi was free and worked well.
Breakfast was fine, no complaints.We ate in the the restaurant one night and it was excellent; great choice on the menu and very reasonably priced. Quirky decor everywhere and an outside terrace to dine on.
Hotel is located a couple of minutes walk to the main square, and had free on site parking.


Excellent 2 night stay

The hotel is very well located, an old building next to the central square and with parking. Old building that implies having to carry luggage 2 floors on foot, there is only an elevator for the last one. The room is fine with good beds and the bathroom works very well. It is possible to improve the distribution of the beds that makes it difficult to see the TV from 2 am at a time. For the price it has at least one fan, since it was too much and opening all the windows and the heating in the center was noisy. Neither corresponds with the price of a towel.

A good hotel, and the details are very detailed.

This hotel is rightly called the best in Bansko Bistrice. First of all, it is located in the historical part of the city, in a step-by-step approach there is the main square where you can enjoy a walk, visit souvenir shops, sit in a cafe or restaurant. The hotel building, like all the rooms, is made in the traditional Slovak style: you enter and get a taste of Slovakia culture!)) The rooms are spacious and clean: football can be driven.

Best hotel in Banska Bystrica

Excellent location right in the city centre, very friendly and helpful staff, also speaking German, hotel owned parking right by the hotel, stylishly decorated rooms, very good beds, breakfast buffet is sufficiently sorted.

Excellent location in the city centre

The hotel is located on a passageway at the edge of the city centre. A canal deck right in front of the house is loose and loud when cars drive through. So you only sleep when traffic is dead at night. Parking at the house, video surveillance. The room was clean, but it had smaller and larger stairs, so it went up and down between hall, bathroom and bedroom. The furniture is a mix of traditional and modern. The equipment with bathroom items is more old-school, a piece of soap and a bag with shower gel. Breakfast is fine. Staff is very friendly.

Motorcycle tours

It is a small complex ideally located 200m from the main square and with a private parking lot. It is a set of buildings, part of which is a 2* boarding house and the other a 3* hotel that share the reception and restaurant. We had a very large room in the hotel with a vaulted ceiling like a monastery, surprisingly the building was rather of the type of big bourgeois house. Small bathroom. Average breakfast in a decorative kitch, plates on the walls..... Very good welcome. The only bemole is the absence of climate while the thermometer reached 34.
